if you want to make A LOT of money in a cheap way... build up your pickpocketing skills and go to one of the black market people in the docks district (either one of the shadow thieves guilds has a fencer). then you can sell something, then steal it, then sell it again, then steal it again, etc.
you can make a VERY large amount of money if you have the patience to do it for a long time.

By the way, i recommend saving after you successfully steal something, cause they may catch you and then you're screwed.

The Kangaxx cheese (Ring of Gaxx, hard to do).

Tolgerias before doing the planar sphere quest (Ring of the Ram, aids greatly in defeating the beforementioned baddie).

The two seated nobles in the open-air restaurant in the Promenade (a truckload of scrolls and assorted goodies).

Ribald (Ring of regeneration).

Madame Nin and the noble wathing the gladiator fights in the Copper Coronet (just a bunch of gems, but good for a freshly started party).

I just went to town and pick-pocked a heap of good potions off renal bloodscalp and galen bayle. I also shop-lifted every good item off the shop keeper in Mae'Vars guild before I cleared it out (including 5 restoration scrolls and the rogue stone, all useful items to keep)

Ok well im making a list of magic items ive pickpocketed i only got 3 so far buit im going to trademeet soon so ill have more.

Telwyn (temple of helm) Helm of Glory
Meronia Harper Guild Docks Wand of Fear

like i said im still looking and planning on writing a guide out for the heck of it.

ps. doh ! of course, pickpocket them ! I was thinking I'd miss out on the gear the harpers have because Im soloing and so dont have jaheira to start that quest (obviously I wont get it all, but I might get some of it)

Isn't there an other guy with the ring of the ram in the Councul of Six building...(an other mage, the one that takes the fee from you so you don't get hasseld from the cowled wizards) once I slaughterd all of those guys over there and found 2 ring of the rams... was this a bug or did I just made a mistake of looting the same body again? (is this what you are revering to SixOfSpades?)

Interesting... I don`t think that`s quite what SOS is talking about though... his method you loose exactly 1 rep point. And I personally don`t understand *why* you loose it.

[/QUOTE]I'm going to take a wild guess at how to get three rings of ram out of Tolgerias. 1 p/pocket at council hq. 2 p/pocket again in the planer sphere and 3 then kill him in the planner sphere.

I am surprised that nobody mentions pickpocketing Gaelan Bayle. He does not have amazing items, but it helps greatly for a fresh party. Do not forget to pickpocket( and steal from) the merchant upstairs too. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Several people in the Council of the Six buidling in the Government District have Potions of Extra Healing.
