Andrewas, the Emphatic Manifestation is unkillable by normal means - Fire damage included.

Depends how they implemented him. Since raising his resistance to 127 would mena Fire would heal him, it should work. Or maybe not. Ill have to test it, one day.

Ill find out ASAP. Does anyone have a creature code/area code to fight this guy with? Im still in cloakwood at the moment, no convinient saves either.

Oh, while you are at it. Test out the Restoration scrolls.

Sigh. I forgot just how bloody aggravating installing BG2 is [img]graemlins/1pissed.gif[/img]

And then the sound didnt work on my new system [img]graemlins/1pissed.gif[/img]

And the ToB fixpack is offline [img]graemlins/1pissed.gif[/img]

But, after dealing with all that crap, heres what I found.

Casting prot from fire and prot from energy results in immunity to fire, not 127% resistance. The other way round dosent work either. Its not possible to kill the Empathic Manifestation by this method.

Lesser restoration does not kill him ,the greater restoration scroll I SKed in didnt cast at all. This needs further investigation.

Heal (from a ToB summon) did not kill him - this surprises me. I suspect that a summoned manifestation does not get scripted properly. Therefore, I will test further with the actual manifestation in the actual unseeing eye quest.

If anyone can thiink of another way to raise any of the manifestations damage resistances (any element, or magic damage resistance) then post here, but I really dont think its possible.

I read somewhere that he needs Cure spells; which would explain why Restoration and Heal don`t work...

Using 3 Protection from Fire Scrolls (the ones usable by anyone and give +50% res) and a fire arrow works. A restoration scroll (again the ones usable by anyone) didnt work, as it does not heal the target after removing level drain like Greater Restoration does. Heal from a summon didnt work? Strange as i just used Heal from a Planetar and that killed him.
