No, it does not. That armor confers 50% resistance to piercing -- basically, to arrows. Very few monsters in the game use piercing attacks. Let me reiterate that there is *no slashing resistance* going on here.

Slap on the Defender of Easthaven +3, innate Barbarian's physical resistances, this armour, Ronarchs Horn, and the bonus from Ascension if you do the fourth trial the evil way. You know what this gives you?

Both less and more than you think, because Roranach's Horn only gives resistance to *blunt* damage and this armor only gives resistance to *piercing* damage and they are not cumulative in that sense. Your calculations are correct, however, for piercing and blunt damage.

See above. This is true for all club maulings and arrow stab wounds, but since almost all weapons deal slashing damage (or blunt), the armor doesn't really help all that much. Also, you could do this with Armor of Faith or JansenWear or Hardiness instead. By the time you have the Bhaalpower, the game is already over.

The ritual armor reward is nice, but it basically just protects against arrows and the occasional spear.

I would be if I were to code it up like that. It's fun to watch "whisper down the alley" in real life. The actual item gives 50% piercing resistance. The first report has it giving 50% slashing and piercing. This quote suddenly has it giving 50% resistance to all physical damage. Soon it will be granting immortality directly and running for president.

That armour is just plain overkill though

It would be, if it were as good as the rumors make it out to be.

At the moment I don't have time for an indepth response to your mods, as I'm meant to be working, but I have throughly enjoyed them all.
