Ah - root beer, eh? You wouldn't be able to stand living in Japan, then (no root beer here!).

I do like soda pop myself, too - but I've been drinking too much lately... Makes me feel bloated or something...

In Japan, they occasionally have soda tea (sweet, though)

Soda tea? is that basically tea flavored soda pop?

Well... Sort of... Like lemon squash (soda water + lemon juice) except you mix soda water and flavored tea

Hmmm, I don't much care for flavored tea. Oh, another thing I don't drink is juice (in reference to your above experience). I eat lots of fruit, just don't do the juice thing.

Whaaaat?! Juice rocks! I love juice. I love natural, no additives juice (most juice in Japan has flavoring added ), but I just love my juice.

As for tea, I only like teas that have juice in them

I like juice, I just don't drink t. Too many sugar carbohydrates, not enough fiber to worth my time.

I do, however, wholeheartedly support other people drinking juice.

Don't worry, it's just fructose, not bad ol' sucrose! (I need my fructose!)

One juice drink not to drink: olive juice (because it's oil!)...

For me, just intaking fructose seems like such a waste of carbohydrates considering that one 8 oz glass of grape juice has the same carbs as a peanut butter sandwich.

I liked iced tea in the summer time. I usually add a slice of lemon or lime to spruce it up a tad.
