That depends on the game and where I am in it. If it's BG2, I've been spoiled on the game quite a lot by people who didn't use spoiler tags in the old days or who blurted out key pieces info in totally unrelated threads, so I read whatever I run across on that game. IWD, I've been through twice so I read those as well.

For other games, I skip them unless I am at the part that's being 'spoiled' and I am stuck or in need of some guidance, then I read them, at my own risk, so to speak! In other words, if I get help I need, great and if I get MORE than I wanted, it's my own fault for reading it since I knew it was a 'spoiler' thread.

What I absolutely can't stand is having major spoilers without the warnings! There really are some people, who, like Larry, want the thrill of discovering things on their own! That makes a game alot of fun for many people and being aware of things in advance can take away some of the excitement of the play.

Well, by the time you get to the walkthrough, find the part you're looking for, and then read it through, you've probably used up about 10 minutes
It's more a thing of trying my patience.

What's behind that corner? The lever that will lower the bridge at the other side of the dungeon?
*random battle*
Blast! It wasn't! I need to check out the other hallway
*random battle*
Still not!
*random battle*
Now I go check over ..*random battle*

Catch my drift?
Oh yeah...that really gets up my nose sometimes. Seriously, I once had three encounters in a row with a period of about 10 secs between each. Man, that sucked...not to mention the precious health of course...oh, and the game was FF8, I think.

Yeah man, ff8 is notorious for it's high-rate of RB's, that's why Diablos is available so soon in the game For that matter: FFX is wonderful, the RB enc-rate is just perfect.

If I requested the spoiler information because I got stuck somewhere in a game, I will read it, I will also read it, if I already know of the subject, but usually I don't like to get myself spoiled, it is much nicer if I find out for myself.
