Hmmm all you people work indoors right? Tough walk to the car? LOL Beating the heat means rolling the tools out at 6 am. That would be outside. When the fireball comes up its gonna be hot! When the crane comes (like yesterday) it means your there till its done. Like 11 1/2 hours in the code-red ozone heat. Code-red means NOTHING if you work outside. Anyone want to come work with me?
i hear ya.the worst day i ever saw was 114 with 98% humidity.and working on a concrete slab.we quit for the day when the soles of our boots started to melt.

So much for the heat wve we are going back down into the 70's again Of course it is raining today and probably again tomorrow. All in all I think we are averaging lower than normal temps in this area. I can't believe it is June and there have only been a handful of really good pool days.

Saz - twice I've tried to get to Texas. The first time was in the early 1980's when it was too cold and the second was in the late 1980's when it was too hot. The first time I got as far as Little Rock and the second as far as Fort Smith. Both times I turned around and headed to Florida. Don't you ever get any sensible weather in Texas?

Well being from Texas what I would do is drink beer until I pass out If you arent awake you arent really aware that youre hot.

We would gather up a group of people and go tubing down the Guadelupe River for a weekend. Lakes Louisville, Grapevine, and Joe Pool came in handy too
