Hurricane's Grill wasn't expensive either - about $20-$30 for a steak or ribs, $27 for a steak and ribs combo (brilliant!) and you can also have burgers for a lower price. It's been jazzed up as well, looks a bit more classy these days. We were going to go to Icebergs for dinner ($30 an entree, $45 a main) but luckily we couldn't get a table, so we came here.

This is their webpage - Hurricane's Grill
TDC, best way to get there from North Ryde would be to take Epping Road, through to the Gore Hill Freeway, then get to the left hand lane and take the Cahill Expressway over the bridge, follow it left to the Eastern Distributor, stay in the left hand lane, go through the Eastern Distributor tunnel and take the Moore Park Road exit to Bondi (you'll see a sign). Then follow the signs to Bondi, Roscoe St is parallel to Campbell Parade. I'm taking the same route as I work in Epping, but will be dropping by my place at Milsons Point first. Oh yeah, forgot to mention... LOL count me in. At least, in theory. I WAS going to suggest that for afterdrinks I take you all to Stonewall pub on Oxford Street, but I doubt many of you would appreciate the atmosphere
Haha, I so funny. Anyways, me is confused. Harks said its on Thursday Sept 28... but Sept 28 is a TOOOOSday. Not a Turdsday. So what is it? The thursday in that week is the 30th.... Haha, what is the age range of peepz going? Its got nothing to do with my attendance, but am I going to be the only one under 30? LoL its good to know what type of folks your going to meet in advance.... -Dave. P.S. Do we have final details? |

Lowenbrau, I think it's spelled. Dave, I've been to Stonewall mate - not a bad place as long as you don't go to pick up. I went with some friends who were basically working as promotions chicks (Dunhill I think) - I thought it was a bit strange, asking a bunch of chicks to work the Stonewall, but everyone had a good time. Heaps less in-your-face than the Shift.
It would be good for you to make it, more the merrier. We'll be doing Thursday...we can do Hurricane's Grill first and then do Icebergs for drinks afterwards. I'll do the bookings as soon as we have some confirmed numbers by Monday. As for age, I'm 30, Harks is 21? I think TDC is 20 or something, Leonis is about 31, and Wellard is about 80 I think. If you check the photo album you'll see who we are. [ 09-24-2004, 12:51 PM: Message edited by: Memnoch ] |
