Hm...I just found out it's not only the scrolling, but windows move in the same way across the screen. So if I try to move the browser window to the right, it also moves slowly and jerky. I have broadband, and recently formatted my hard drive, so I have plenty of room...and plenty of system resources...

I found the problem! The Graphics card ain't working. I have to play around with it. Dammit, it better be compatible with WinXP. I upgraded a little while ago, and after I updated the driver, it wouldn't work...thanks for all the help! I am so sorry I took up your time. I didn't meant to waste anyone's.
EDIT: Argh. The problem continues. I installed a different driver, and now updating it. I edited this post now because I won't be able to later. I will post once the update is done... [ 04-25-2003, 05:50 AM: Message edited by: slicer15 ] |

Okay, editing time has elapsed, but the problem is fixed. It was the display driver for the graphics card. Thank you for everyone who gave advice! I really do appreciate it! I didn't meant to waste anyone's time like I said before.
