Given that the displacement enchantment of Joseph's belt is still active, it's not likely Morguerat would have been able to grab him on the first attempt and Joseph would certainly not have remained still to allow a second, and would definitely not submit to being carried.

Should events have actually taken place as posted, this leaves the group in an interesting situation as, given what we've seen of Joseph's personality, it's unlikely he'll simply brush aside such an offense to his dignity.

Let me apologize then. I think Morgie felt he needed to help with moving your character because you had not been seen recently, and he was just trying to help...and forgot about your displacement ring. However, its my fault because I also forgot about it and I am supposed to keep up with things like that.

I'll change my post to remove the mention of noticing such an occurance (reboot game option is a legal move) , and I'll change Morgie's post as well and hope he does not literally kill me.

ah, my bad then, didn't realise you had that item, and I realised that it would greatly offend J, but given his current physical state, and the frequency of posts I thought I'd move things along (as Larry said)

No problem. I appreciate you guys moving things along as I've been stuck several days without reliable internet access while on the road.

My only real concern was that we probably didn't need to complicate matters even more at this stage of the game by offending the party's way out of the tower - not to mention a guy who could prevent Larry from reaching the candle ......

..... although that is a tempting plot twist.

(Snip)

For Larry, Joe, and Morgie...I am waiting to continue in the treasure room after the two others have acknowledged where we are...

Aside from the quest treasure (the candle), I will be removing one additional item from this room for my character. Each of you get to name an item of interest and take it as well. Cyril already knows this.

Thing is Andrion wasn't calling to Grey, but to Echo, who is capable of simulating the Mage's voice, and commanding Grey. Not sure if that changes anything.

Let me erase what I placed up there and rethink the whole thing. Cyril...we need to talk. You said earlier to "trust you". Does that mean that Grey is not in danger? Do I need to work on getting Echo to hear the owl and save the dead man?

Just think of the little ones, Tao.

Don't soon forget the little ones...
