Calaethis nodds, "I understand, well" he grins "We *could* get to know each other better.. not much to say about me really... my mother, well, was part sea-elf.. my father.. I don't know... anyway, my cousin helped raise me as a child for a while... and... well, I never really liked being around a lot of other elves, so I choose the path of the ranger, it is so much more peaceful in the forest, besides I've always favoured the longsword, and the longbow... Katanas are good too, I like to dual weild two as a backup weapon... what about you? Oh, and I have a animal compaion, a wolf, well, a 1/5 winter wolf." Calaethis breaks off.

Kaltia smiled at him and turned her head to the side, slightly. "A Ranger too? May I ask whom your deity is?" Her Panther companion silently leaped besides her, startling Calaethis who hadn't been able to see it hiding in the shadows.

Calaethis shook his head... "I don't worship any dieties save the elven Mother.. I do however pay tribute to one, and respect him greatly... His name is Shevarash... The Night Hunter, The Black Archer, The Slayer of Drow..." Calaethis flushed embarresed "Forgive me, but you asked, I do not hate drow, but... for the most part they are evil and... although you are not, as are so others... please, forget I said anything" Calaethis turned an knelt, taking the panthers head in his two hands, cupping it's face with his palms. He gently stroked the animals fur, whispering to it in elvish "He is beautiful Kaltia, erm, I assume he is a he.. he is a delightful companion, where ever did you find him?"

Alliene had listened to this bickering long enough. She stopped dead, causing the rest of the party to run into her. She turned around and they quickly backed up, all except Dameon, who had been beside her,

"By Shar! What is wrong with you!" her glare is directed at all but Natha, "I really hate to disrupt your oh so heartfelt conversation cousin, but I'll not stand for this,"

She stalked over to Kaltia, wrathing shining in her eyes, "I realize you are half drow as I am. But it does not give you right to discipline anyone here. Especially my cousin," her black dragon had sensed her ire and had crawled out of her pocket, snarling, "Perhaps when you've been raised by a Matron for 175 years you will understand," she snatched her swords out of their sheaths and gripped them tenaciously, her gaze shifting to Calaethis

"You, Calaethis. I'm surprised at you most of all. If you want to visit my father with me, then you must do as I say, please! Er..." she ground her teeth before glancing at Dameon, "Dameon, you are new, so I will leave you out of it, but come, I will tell of you myself..." she glanced at the others, giving them a silent look to follow.

"I am half-drow. Elves originally cast into the underdark. They stayed there, adapted, started to worship Lloth and spiders, turned evil. Fotunatley, not all of us are the same. I worship Shar, the good drow goddess," she carried Zachana in her arms and scratched under her wings, "I left my mothers city for a search of a better life, and found one. The drow don't tolerate good of any kind, unfortunatley. So some leave, like Natha here..." she sighed a bit, "Unfotunatley though I am good, I still have that streak of cruelty in me, which is why I am respected of course," she grinned and glanced behind her to make sure everyone was behaving

<<Zachana, go fetch Calaethis's familiar for him, he misses him>>
<<Immediatley, my lady>> Zachana soared off after flying a malicious circle around Kaltia.

Looking at his cousin, Calaethis shook his head and quietly said "I dont respect you for you're cruelty, I respect you becuase I love you as my cousin, thats why..." Calaethis sighed "I would like to come with you, but it doesn't help when people are baiting me... not that I am offering excuses"

Her sharp eyes seemed to cut through him, "I know that. Unfortunetley for those who don't love me, well, no description of what I do to them is needed," her nostrils flared slightly.

"Of course, if they cross you, once they've been warned, they deserve everthing they get, and more" Calaethis replied calmly.

Alliene remained silent in thought.
Now he speaks calmly about death does he? A pity he isn't drow, it would suit him so much better. she snorted slightly I am obviously having an impact on his disposition, well the earlier the better.

She reached back and took Calaethis's hand, "I have a surprise for you, Calaethis. I will give it to you when we stop for the night," she gave an inward smile at his look of surprise. Who knows what he thought it would be.

Looking at his cousins face, Calaethis replies "Why shouldn't I be calm, these lesser creatures are worthless. Warning them once is more then enough. If they choose to ignore it, so be it. They deserve death." Calaethis winces inwardly at his cousins "surprise"... shuddering he nodded, and fell back in line with her...
