Tao asked an important question and I realized that I need to clarify the enviroment a bit more.

1. There is a huge emerald that sits in the room, atop a stone alter.

2. There is a long cloth under the emerald, covering the stone alter.

3. The emerald sits a few feet from a portal that is shimmering with life. The portal has a pillar on both side of it, covered in odd writings and the pillars glow in the same color as the emerald.

OK, so using the carpet, we just need to toss the emerald through the portal [img]graemlins/elf.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img]
