Malar looked at her and just smiled. Aeris, get back to work. You trained much longer then this when we were in the Underdark. Come now. And Tyra, I like your attitude. Keep that up. How about in a little bit, maybe 2 hours or so we take a break? And get back to practising. Malar had an aura of care and understanding in his voice. Aeris nodded. Ok brother. I must be getting lazy or something.... Aeris stood up and notched another arrow.

"How about five Lord Malar? And then perhaps we could spar some more with quaterstaves? Erm, Lord Malar, I'm getting a little tired now, do you have any spells that would restore stamina?" she was understating, she was ready to collaspe. Sheer willpower alone kept her up, and shooting arrows. "I'm not ready to stop yet, but my arms feel like they've been on fire for the last hour or so..."

Why did you not tell me this sooner? Oh and we'll change it to 4 hours. Now hold still and let me cast the spell. Malar whispered and mumbled words unknown to Tyra. After a minute or two she started to feel restored and strong. The weariness from her body disapeared. Any better? And we'll practise some more with the staves if you like.

Tyra smiled shyly "I didn't want to sound weak, my lord - and besides - if this were real, they'll be times when my arms are aching - I should get used to it now, so I'm unsurprised when it happens... hmm, a break with quaterstaves sounds nice, perhaps I could face you this time, Lord Malar?"

And you did'nt. We all get sore and weak, even me. It comes naturally. He then pondered the idea of her sparring him. As you wish. But heed this. I do not go easy on my students. Even if it is their first time. His voice was stern , but still caring.

She nodded, and unstrung her bow, laying it on the ground, and neatly coiled up the string and put it in an oilskin. She took the quaterstaff, and looked at Malar, "I expect you'll knock me on my back with your first swing, weaponsmaster..." smiling she moved onto clearer ground, then assumed a guard pose, then she attacked, only to find her attacks blocked with ease. This continued and Tyra's eyes filled with tears of frustration, "Your too good!" she said angrily. She blinked and attacked again.

Malar was attacking in fury now.He had no intentions of hurting her. It came naturally to him.Do not cry! Warriors get frustrated at time, but do not weep over it! His attacks were swift. He restrained from hitting her. She backed away as he came on feirce and wild. She kept backing up until she backed into a Willow. He pinned her with his staff. There. You are beaten. Would this have been real I would have done something by now instead of wasting words. His speech was hard and sharp. Although he ment not to be like this he could'nt stop it.

Tyra nodded, "Sorry Lord Malar - I did not mean to appear weak - will you still continue to train me? Five hours in the morning perhaps? From before dawn til breakfast? And then in the afternoon? perhaps, two until five?" she was serious about learning combat, and Malar could see it in her eyes. She dropped them "Thank you for not hitting me, master" she whispered, using the customary address of a student to his/her mentor/tutor.
The girl looked around and blinked, there was a drow sitting next to the tree, "Malar!" she cried out, and he unpinned her, and stepped inside the willow... Alliene was there. |

IC:Malar looked at Alliene in confusion. Then at the drow. Then Alliene. He had no idea she was part sea elf vel'uss phuul dos tuth? Aeris spoke out. Malar! Relax. It is Lady Alliene. He bowed to Alliene. Alliene, this is my older brother, Malar Kencer. Malar looked to Tyra. Please Tyra , do not call me master. Just call me Malar. I never liked being called master anyway. Malar smiled and lay down his quarterstaff and bowed in front of Alliene. I am please to meet you Lady Alliene.

![]() Also, this romance with Khal and Sly...children love, tch. Children don't know what love is ![]() Verloren shrugged, "Just mind your manners from now on, do you hear me?" a hand brushed a sword hilt, "I'll keep you away from Alliene as much as I can, but I make no promises. And if you swear you will not leave my estates, I believe you. As for sleeping in my room, Avalon and I have things to speak about that I do not wish you or any other to hear of. You can keep this one, it is different then my sister's, you see," she glanced around and made her leave, "Lord Avalon is expecting my audience," Alliene, oblivious to the moisture under the willow, cast a tired glance at the young drow, "Perhaps, young dog," she told him in their language, "But first I would know your name, otherwise, you get nothing," A hand went to Nizzre's sheath as the young Malar tumbled in, her cold silver eyes narrowing, "A pleasure, I'm sure, Malar Kencer," she said in a tart tone, "I am Alliene Silverwater, Matron of First House Streea in the city Rilauven, Chosen Warrior of Shar, princess of the sea-elf kingdom Allinav, and sister of her Majesty Verloren," she tugged the leash in her hand gently, "This is my pet. He made the folly of ambushing me and is paying the price," her cool gaze swept over Aeris and Tyra, "If you don't mind, I would like to be left alone," she said in common, "The return of the golden one is causing me enough annoyance as is," her eyes left them, an obvious dismisal. |
