Looks like our internet issues out this way have finally been resolved. I'll have some posts up today.

I also thought folks might like a sneak preview of a game resource I've been working on.

Cyril, that is quite a compilation, it must have taken you a long time. Good work!

Well, I think I may soon get the opposite of you. Tonight I am going to sleep outside in a cardboard box, at a local charity event. I did it last year, and it is great fun, but it does get fairly chilly. Still, the bacon rolls in the morning sure are tasty

On a side note, maybe my sick mind, but when you say in the room Larry does that include Vince since I never entered the room? or is it a wide encompassing area of affect cast?

About 15 feet = 5 meters if you use the basic rules. Anyone outside it would see a faint shimmering but, well, since the caster moves inbetween the seconds the time that 'passes' in which he can move about, isn't real time. The 5 meters is only important in that, if the mage leaves the radius, the spell ends instantly.
Though technically it always ends instantly.

From the mage's perspective, everything would suddenly start moving again. Meaning he's lost the rest of the d3 rounds/minutes/posts/weeks/whatever Larry gave him.

The other characters, Kynnen, Plaxica, Dying Guard and so on don't experience the spell as 'being frozen'. Andrion's just somewhere else all of a sudden, and a couple of spells shoot in their direction, and their shoelaces are tied together.

You have shot three arrows so far, and are still outside the door?

Well...with a 15 feet area of effect, you are also frozen still. That 15 feet applys even through walls of stone, in a sphere-shaped area of effect.

I am getting hit with an ice storm this weekend, and that stuff has a higher chance of knocking out my power than does a regular snow fall. So...if I am not around and you need some moves played out...Cyril is your man. If he is unable to post,,,as he will also be getting some rough weather...then Morgie is next in line of authority that can play as subsitute DM.

I'm honored to have your faith placed in me to this degree Larry, especially for a game of this quality. I hope to be able to live up to this trust, and subcommand well in your absense. (if events force you to become absent that is)
