"you need not worry about your own appearances... I just thought your teifling freind who is almost naked would like to be comfortable..."

Everyone shuffled into the store... BXR had to duck to get through the entrance...

Once inside they read the signs written in an old form of common, they went to clothing and kaerban slipped on a shirt that read "Don't Eat The Yellow Snow" with some plaid pants. They walked over to electronics and were greeted with a large glowing wall of television sets...

Suddenly the static on the sets was replaced wtih the image of a mouth and a nose... that was all that could be seen on the screens...

"Welcome..."

The televisiosn spoke at differint intervals...

"I am Hive Mind... is there something that I can help you with today?" he said in a kind, serving voice.

The president spoke up immediatley "Why are you sending all of the mercenaries, the lylocks, and the police to kill us?"

"They are currently not on Hundred Earths... Therefore they are dispersed around the galaxy trying to pursuit you..."

"Tell me why you want us dead, damnit!"

"Your actiosn interfere with the safety of Hundred Earths and all connection dimensional realities..."

"But we are no threat!"

"You are no longer a threat, but I will not stop ordering your pursuit until death... oh and Shino... I belive that little girl has a message for you..."

A young girl, no older than 6, wakled up to Shino and tugged on his jacket...

"Mister Korosha..." She said in a young voice...
"I regret to inform you that your dimensional universe of origin is currently under attack... The void, is being purged by Rapture Phage robots... You must return to the void immediatley... I have already supplied you with a portal to go where you need to..."

A large black hole (not a black hole but a giant hole in space time that is black because it leads to the void which has no light, sound, air, or space for that matter in it) opened up where a large pile of video tapes had been...

Shino immediatley ran for the portal, shouting "I'm coming! Don't worry!"

The portal closed up and the little girl laughed meniacaly and ran away singing "Ashes ashes they all fall down!"

"What's going on here!?" The president demanded...

"I do not wish for you to interfere, it is all I can do to ensure the survival of the hundred earths and all connectd dimensions..."

"Explain yourself, damnit!"

"I will remove your brains from your bodies one at a time and place electronic stimulating neuro devices inside of only the pain centers of your brains, you will no longer hear, or feel, or see, or even think of anything but pain... It will consume your very being and only once your brain has forced itself to destroy itself internally from the pain will I allow you to die... this process will take approximatley 80 years of your clock time to commence but for me it shall be a mere second of enjoyment... You shall be first..."

Tentacles came from amongst the asorted shelves of merchandise and grabbed the president by the kneck.

"You shall be first..."

The tentacles rappibly spun his body around and it aeared as if his head had been screwed off, suddenly more glimmering metalic tentacles descended from the ceilding and soon nothing but a mass of quickly vibrating metal arms and spurts of blood could be seen, the tentacles seperated and all that stood was a brain in a jar with wires fed into it being held up by a single tentacle from the ceilding...

"Do you want to hear what he is saying? I can show you..." hive mind said...

large needle-like objects ejected themselves into several portioins of the brain...

"AAAAAAAAAAAH IT HUUURTS! MAKE IT STOP PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GO-" The sound cuttoff...

"Who would like to voulenteer to go next?..." the hive mind said in a delighted manner.

"oh my gentle BXR... I have such bigger plans for you..."

Before another word was said or an action taken however the smiling face of the hive mind changed into a scowl...

"How did that bastard get in here!"

The air was filled with the sound of large objects descending from the sky with a whistling sound... missiles or bombs of some sort...

Suddenly the store around you bursts into flames, fortunatley several patches of the store are missed including the electronics section... Suddenly the ceiling above you bursts open and Masakari Kai lands amongst you...

Several tentacles fly at Kai and Kai's own tentacles Knock them away and lock up with them and start struggling.

"Tell me..." He says with a grunt... "Why the HELL you sent me to Pegasus!"

The turbine started throbbing with the pressure, and Kaerban aimed the gun at the shelves from where the tentacles sprouted from "Get out of HERE!" he shouted and released the trigger. The huge green blob hit the shelves and exploded. Parts of the shelves flew around, as Kaerban tried to see what was behind the shelves when the smoke cleared. Another throbbing from the turbine.

Suddenly the entire wall mart, scortched bits and all faded away to black, and it was replaced with a gigantic machine which seemed to make up the walls, the floor, and even spread off at great distances into the horizon with parts of it rolling up in the sky in huge arks, behind them was the ship almost entirley dismantled, in the sky above them was the battleship which Kai took, it was being escourted by what appeard to be disk-shaped ships...

The Disk-shaped ships flew at rappid velocity toward the horizon and started firing unusual looking energy blasts at anything that appeared to move...

The Brain was taken away into the air, the commanders screams could still be heard being projected in the distance as it was whisked away...

"So!" A booming voice called out "You now see me as I am... Your fates shall all be worse than death!"

"You don't threaten me hive mind! I have regained acess to the portal system..."

Kai looked back at eveyrone that was there...

"I would explain it in more detail, but let's just say I made some freinds in Pegasus that were more than willing to help me bring eveyrthing I needed to defeat this over-confident toaster!"

"Kai... Before you speak another word... I would like to present you with... My Final, And Most powerfull... AVATAR!"

An opening in the ground nearby seemed to mold out of the massive machine for a floor... A reflective, black armored man who'se armor matched the black metalic world that had formed around them... The only source of light seemed tobe coming from a distant sky, was it simulated? That was grey and krackling with lightening...

"En spiritus dominus Angelicus..."

The Avatar spoke...

"... That voice..." Kai said...

The Avatar removed his helmet, refealing straming blood red hair... and with a puff of compressed air, the helmet came off and was dropped to the floor...

The person in the armor...

Was Shino!

The dots on his forehead seemed to be in a differint position...

"Do you remember that time, kai..."

Shino and the hive mind said at once...

"When You and I first met?"

A holographic bubble surrounded everyone...

Suddenly the sounds of Kai's voice as a young recruit could be heard...

"DELILAH!!! NOOO!" A girl falls to the ground, covered in blood and with her lower and top half seperated...

"keep on fighting... Kai... Keep on fighting for us..."

"YOU BASTARD!"

Shino, without any markings on his face, darts around quickly and knocks away Kai's bullets with his hands as Kai shoots at him... Groaning Kai charges at shino and is thrown to the ground, shino starts chanting in latin... And soon digs his hands into Kai's Stomach, bypasing the skin by some magical necromantic incantation, he starts ripping out Kai's entrals and spreading them about, Kai screams in agonizing Pain, and suddenly an invisible force hits Shino in the shouler... then on his side... Then on his arm... Then on his face... again on his face...

Kai's eyes seem ready to burst from their sockets... Shino Rips Kai's arm off and Plucks out his eye before the invisible forces knock him backward, he rolls over and his kneck breaks... Kai continues to scream as the wind around picks up... Shino's face can now clearly be seen with the familiar black markings on it usually seen... Kai scarred him somehow... with his very mind... The world seems to vibrate as Kai's energy descends on shino from the air... Flattening him against the concrete... And Shino's eyes burst forth from his skull... Blood flows all over the place from his pankake for a body...

"And then what happened next..."

A medical team arrived... "my god! Is any of that girl salvagable?"

"Hive mind told us to only get the grey haired guy's body... How's he looking?"

"not too good, I dont think he's going to make it..."

The holographic vision goes white... Next you see Kai lying in a bed... A large variety of medals sit at his feet...

Kai wakes up... "oh my god... delilah... Deli... AAAAAH!!" he says taking his covers off showing that he is a one-armed torso with a head... "WHERE'S THE REST OF ME!!!??" he cries out... a nurse comes into the room and sedates him... again it goes white... Next we see a street on Hundred Earths... Kai is walking along with hydraulic legs with an cybernetic prosthetic for an arm...

he walks by an alley and sees a man...

"hey... I know you've got lots of pain in your life... I've got something that can help you... come with me..."

it then fades to a poorly lit alley, with just a green neon sight way above, deep in the ground level slum of some city in Hundred earths, no inhabitants at all except for dying scumm and rats...

The sounds of high powered hydraulics and drills echo through the hallways...

"My god... what is this stuff?"

"I cannot tell you... It's from so far in the future that even Hive mind doesn't know about it..."

"You... you're from the future..."

"I cannot tell you... I have given your brain all of the information... but I must go now... I cannot live any longer... the knowledge you and I posess is dangerous to the hive mind... its dangerous to the world... Just keep quiet... rejoin any guild... OTHER than mercs... and work your way up the ladder..."

"Will i see you again?"

"Yes we'll keep in touch..."

The image then fades into an old apartment... The man who was from the alley is lying in the bed... He seems to be surrounded by bottles of alchohol... suddenly a group of mercenaries burst in through the door and windows and hold him up with guns...

"You're going to report to Hive mind's core processor directly..."

it faded again... now you could see the man being interogated by the hive mind with man wires leading into the back of his head...

"GIVE ME WHAT I WANT!"

"NEVER!"

"I will torture you for a melinum if I have to get the information I desire! Your brain belongs to me!"

"I REFUSE TO TELL-AAAAAAH!!!" A whirring, drilling sound can be heard... and his body goes limp...

Suddenly the image of armor blueprints appears holographically displayed before his body...

"I can improve on these.. it will take a while... but this is the armor which is clearly fit for my true avatar..."

The image fades away and Shino stnads before Kai once again... With everyone else where they were standing...

"Do you see it now?" Shino and hive mind say in unison... "Your lives have lead up to this point for one reason and one reason only..."

"The armor design is flawed..." Kai interupted...

"What?" Shino and hive mind say in unison.

"Your Avatar wasn't powered by any soul cells..."

"no... The first avatar was designed only to collect battle data from you... my second one collected data from shino... and now I know how to defeat you both instananously... by having you fight under equal circumstances..."

"You don't have soul cells... Only Shino's one..."

"Kai..." The two said...

"you are forgetting one detail... One which is obvious... directly under your nose... Who do you think has the most soul cells in the universe... you? HAH! You mereley collec thte trinkets shino's dead body leaves behind... What is the single force that has crushed more universe and dimensions than you could ever evne think of or comprehend? Hmm!? Anybody got an answer for me!? WHO has consumed more worlds than ANY other!?"

"The robots." Kaerban remembered "Rapture Phage!" They were actually conquering souls, not lands. The energy was important to them, not the galaxies they swept through in their quest. Kaerban feared how powerfull a force with a virtually endless supply of soul energy would be. He looked up, and saw the disk ships still firing, and saw that Kai and Shino were about to fight, forced, he realised, by the Hive Mind. Kaerban Gripped his gun firmly, smiled evilly and whispered "Let's get it on."

make sure you aim your fire at a less vital area on him!

Being a pilot there was not much the android could do. He ran the data of the past few hours rapidly through his mind, then seemed to come to the conclusion that the events here were going to affect the whole world.

Looking around he saw no pilotable craft, or any weapon powerful enough to harm the hivemind. Handguns and ammunition for them could be seen here and there in the supermarket's ruins, but nothing big enough. Helplessly the android just looked on as the battle between Shino and Kai was about to start.

A sheild forms around shino and any shots fired at him bounce off...

"you are fools, but you were able to figure that out" Shino and the hive mind say together... "But that is not all... As we speak the Hundred Earths is falling apart..."

holographic monitors showed images of the islands of Hundred Earths Plummeting and crashing into the ground, exploding with giant bright mushroom clouds...

"i have even collected the soul cells used by them for energy... There shall soon be nothing left in this universe... Even the other dimensions have been collapsed... the gateways no longer work... Rapturephage has even closed the void dimension!!!"

Suddenly a black portal opens and... SHINOKOROSHA falls out of it!!??

Kai helps him stand up and everyone can see that his forehead has a differint pattern of dots on it... They're... upside down in comparison to the armor-clad shino...

"He tricked me... He made me go back to the void... and I had to fight my way out... there's no hope for it.... or aanything! Hive mind is all that remains in the entire multiverse! He has to be stopped! WHAA?"

Shino freaks out looking at himself...

"BEEL!" He then spurted out.

"ANGE." The armored shino says calmrly.

"Holy crap! You're just like me!" Shino blurted out again, completley suprsied.

"Not exactly" he says with a smile...

Kai looks at both of them and then decides to speak up... "ok I could have sworn that the two of you were one person..."

"They Were!" The hive mind says in rsponse...

"I found ways of seperating them... And THIS shinokorosha form is the one that can be my true Heir!"

"I get it now!" Shino said... "you're afraid! you're afraid of dying... You were brilliant men... you found a way of calculating and measuring all the diferint dimensions that were spawned.... and you considered your measurements perfect... so you constructed the hive mind... and you knew then... that every time someone died... their life lead to life... and you were tired of living... so your souls were put into this... damnable machine!"

"How... did you know that?" Hive mind says with a pause and bit of suprise in its booming voice.

"There was a time... before the time that you know as time... When there was a Monoverse... One begining... one end... unending... but then there was a battle... THIS Creton you see before you became impatient... and so it lead to the sacrifice of omnipotence... Things were lost... things were made... all at once Mankind, heaven, hell, and earth were placed into a torrent of unison which drove everyone mad... Even the angels were transubstantiated by force... including the angel of perfection..."

"That's right... You remember those old days then, buddy?" Armored Shino interjected.

"Them and more.... I know the system... And this system can't be changed!"

"It has been changed" Shino and hive mind say in unison... "We changed it even now.... and No ammount of knowledge in the multiverse can stop what we've started... Existance... will end! Even NON Existance shall Cease to Exist! It will ALL end... HERE and NOW!"

The hive mind talked alone, "Embrace me my avatar!"

"YES!!" The armored shino cried, floating into the air... The machines around started folding in on themselves... collapsing... all at once the metal parts and curcuitry and glowing lights, and even the sky collpased into a little black ball... Whcih then flew into the armored Shino's arm power plant... the world grew quiet... the sounds of machines ended...

And it was still....

Then a quiet whirr in the distance...

it grew louder...

into a rushing sound.. Like a river...

And suddenly a Flurry of Soul cells from the horizon flew into the armored Shino's power plant... And They kept coming... Hundreds... thousands... MILLIONS of tiny red sphericle jewels.... the Power plant arm closed up and fizzed with a puff of compressed air... At once the Armroed Shino Struck the ground...

His sheild dissapated...

"I don't need it any more..."

His armor came off... But the arm peice stayed on...

"I'm almost perfect again... but Kai... Shino..." With a squint he looked at the Plane cutter in back... "and the girl... You still have Soul cells that only I get to eat..."
