Aeris then realized he was'nt going easy on her, he was treating her like a child instead. Forgive me Lady Tyra. I...did'nt realize what I was doing. He attacked and made a horizantel swipe. She jumped back, the blade nicked her hand. Tyra jammed her staff into Aeris's rib. He backed off. Well done Tyra. I think you cracked a rib. He noticed Tyra's bleeding. He walked over to her and examined the wound.

Breathing heavily, she gasped, "Oh, I'm sorry my lord! Are you all right?" she looked at her own hand, it was a nasty gash across the knuckles. "I'm fine, really, I hope I didn't hurt you too much? I guess I should get this bandaged." she took his head in both hands, having handed her staff to Malar, who'd walked over. Looking him straight in the eyes, she told him, "Focus on me, I want to make sure your not stunned or anything." Aeris did. Satisfied she hadn't cracked him on the head at all - she said, "Lady Verloren's a healer... but.. perhaps it would be best not to disturb her... erm, Lord Malar, do you think you could call a guard? Ask them where the infirmary is?" Tyra had taken charge without thinking, orginising everyone.

Malar smiled. No need my dear. I will heal you both myself. Malar closed his eyes and whispered various incantations. An aura of white light surroned the wounded two and disappeared. Tyra's wound sealed up and disapeared. The pain in Aeris's ribs went away. There. Feeling better you two? I think this is enough training for one day. We will continue your training in the later Lady Tyra.

Tyra smiled warmly at him, "I thank you, my lord" she curtised "I would like that" still smiling she asked, "My lord Malar, melee combat is all very well... but.. do you s'pose I could get in some archery practise as well? I... I'd rather not go back to Skye's rooms yet... since my own are in use." she made a slight face. "Please?" her eyes were pleading, and she didn't have anything else to do - she didn't really feel like going shopping around Amn with an escort - and it was too dangerous to go by herself.

Malar smiled. Of course my dear. It has been long since I have handled a bow.

Walking back down to the armoury, they quickly located the ranged section. Tyra took a quiverful of arrows, and waited for Malar to choose a bow; both he and Aeris both chose ash longbows. After they'd both taken quivers too, the three of them left the armoury, and wandered outside - after about half an hour's walk, they reached the archery range. Standing at forty paces, Malar asked if this was the first time she'd used a bow. She shook her head. Thirty paces would be better for a beginer - or even twenty. So, they started at twenty-five. They strung their bows, the two drow with pracitsed ease; it took Tyra a couple of tries, but she soon got the hang of it - her bow was 5'6, slightly higher then she was; and they all put on their wrist and arm guards. Malar corrected their stance first of all, and Tyra losened an arrow... it struck the target. Five more followed in rapid succession. They all hit the target, but not its centre.

*edit *makes a face and rolls eyes* I knew I'd left something out - archers arm and wrist guards...

Malar noted they were'nt hitting the target's bulleye. Malar strung his bow and took aim at the target next to Aeris's. He pulled back the arrow and let go. With a twang of the string the arrow hit the target. I guess I still have my skills. Hours passed by and the two got better. There shots came closer and a few even hit there mark. Why do i feel as if I am going through your training course again Malar? Malar chuckled. Because you are training under my wing again little brother.

ooc-um, posting for Verloren is stressful(because someone makes his char so whiney and difficult), so i'll post some Alliene

Alliene and the drow warrior sat beneath a large drooping weeping willow tree in the center of the gardens. It was a good place to escape the sun, the annoying sounds of wood hitting wood and twanging bow strings. A good place to escape life. The thin branches cascaded off the trunk and piled on the ground, creating the perfect hideout. The sea-elf glanced over at her charge and sighed. Maybe he was stubborn, but he was good company. Alliene leaned against the trunk, pulling her knees up to her chest.
"Why must my mistakes always come back to taunt me," she whispered to no one in particular.

Looking up at Verloren, Calaethis asked gently, "Am I confined to this room? Or may I leave?" he sighed, "I... would like to dress, if that is all right with you?" Embracing Verloren suddenly, he whispered into her ear, "Thank you for giving me another chance..." she could feel his hot tears running down her neck, his head on her shoulder, he wept.

At a loss, Verloren patted Calaethis until he was done crying,
"Of course you may, as long as you don't leave my estates," she made a hand signal at Elon and the Captain bowed and left, leaving to inform the guards, "I believe your elves might like to see you. Tyra is outside...and I am unsure where Slyquis is. I'm sure you can find her," Avalon touched her shoulder and she nodded, then they left.
