Andrion Wilgor 60/60

He went up the steps with the drow following him. He reached the top and came out into open air. He saw three dead bodies. He made a short search of the area, but found nothing special of interest so he went on and in about a minute's time he spotted Nanashi.

"You left quite a trail of destruction behind you, Nanashi."

Kynnen then reached the top of the stairs.

"This is Kynnen. He was a prisoner of the Inquisitor and he has agreed to help take care of the guards and Larry in exchange for me freeing him from his cell."

When he finished speaking Andrion sent his thoughts to Nanashi through the shadow link he used with the mage.

"I am not totally sure he can be trusted. But I am sure that he wants to see the blood of the guards."

Silt 80/80

Silt chuckled, a wide grin spreading over him like a rash, he hadn't been so happy for many years. Yet he still wasn't exactly sure why, probably just happy that this man still had a chance to redeem himself, and hadn't been killed by some monstrous beast.

"It's great to see you Larry!" Silt couldn't really think of much else to say right then, he knew they must prepare for battle. He couldn't help but feel his judgement of Marcos had been a bit precarious; maybe he knew what he was talking about afterall.

" We should prepare ourselves, if you are here then that mean's they are not much further behind, Let's make that door a bit harder for them to get through, what do you say? Since I more then likely wont be seeing my weapons and belongings anytime, I want to be able to use what we have here to an advantage. There were tiger, if it is the one I am thinking of is a tuff kitty, but she can be subdued. And after Larry she will more then likely be after me if she catch's my scent. That is provided these are the same, where's Liam when you need him!" with that, Vincent scans the room for any useful objects.

Inquisitor Marcos of Snowdale - 98/98

He turned around to look through, then open the window. Still holding his weapon in one hand, he dragged Plaxica in.

The inquisitor addressed the guard.

"Would this be your were-creature?
A glance at his face told the inquisitor otherwise.
"It appears we have several within the walls then. Let us help Gregory keep his word. Fetch the armor, and bring back a number of nets as well. I believe there were some silver-tipped arrows in these men's possessions. It would indeed be wise to return them their weapons at this point. Silt and Vincent will help you carry it all to the ballroom."

The inquisitor hung the hammer by his side and sat down facing Larry, ignoring the others for the moment.

"It appears that Andrion has been slaying several guardsmen these past few hours. Much to my regret we lack the time for a decent conversation. Tell me of what you feel is important while we walk towards the tower. It is time you met the duchess."

Nanashi

Her cold eyes stare through Andrion in judgement, putting him in his place below her rank...and does so as well to the drow that is lagging behind the mage.

He spoke to her with the ability that the Master had given them both, the power to speak through shadow magic in a form silent to all outward ears, yet felt from within.

"So...mage...we need to get the guards out in the open so we can deal with them. Why don't you throw your friend here into the room and see how much trouble he can get himself into. Then you and I would be free to move forward with no resisitance."

Kenden

"Yes sir!

Kenden led Vincent and Silt out of the room they were in and to the right, down a hallway brightly lit. They made a few turns here and there and finally came to a door where Kenden stopped.

"This is where Gregory keeps his arms and armor."

He then proceeded into the room only to come rushing back out with his hands filled with what the tall man had asked for.

"Silt, please take this to the tall man that has asked for this equipment. Vincent and I will go gather the other things."

He then turned and ran down the hallways a bit more, coming to another door that was locked. Using a key around his neck, he opened the door and walked inside, inviting Vincent in as well.

This room was where the surplus was stored, along with many weapons and armors of all kinds. In one section of the room, laid out on various tables were the equipment of Vincent, Silt, and some other stuff that looked like they belonged to people...maybe other prisoners or detained guests.

"I'll carry Silt's, and you grab your own and done it quickly. Then we'll get moving!"

He looked around happy to see that Larry had reached the Inquisitor safely.

"Sorry to interrupt you Sir Marcos, but Sir Gregory is dead. He died at the hands of the weretiger. And another thing I have to tell you is that Andrion might also be as great a concern as the weretiger. He single-handedly killed five guards, while I could only watch. Silver weapons shall come in handy against the were-creature, but magical protections might also be needed."

"We have to fight the guards out here, where the terrain is to our advantage. Could you trick some of them into coming out here, while I exchange a few words with Nanashi?"

Larry had got up to walk with the Inquisitor in silent contemplation when Plaxica added information to the already growing danger that lurked outside. While Plaxica explained this case, Larry could only stand there and think of what information he might have that could be of use to Marcos at this time. He could not think of anything however, except for the part about where Marcos had mentioned that he was taking him to meet a duchess. The duchess?...

Lifeless nostrils sniff the air, the torn and rotting flesh about them shaking as deep breaths are drawn into unliving lungs. So many scents! The stink of blood from the wounded dragon has called out from the ground upon which it was spilled. The call has been answered and great paws restlessly scratch the bloodstained earth. The dragon is not far. And other scents are to be found upon the air this day, scents heavy with life, lives that know the woman - an entire pack of the living to be devoured! A mighty howling rises, a howling simultaneously of one and of many, for the voice of the one is the collective voice of an entire pack, and this one that is dead is dead with the death of many. The scent of prey floats languidly upon the wind and the jaws of the dead hunger to taste the flesh of the living .......
