Rhianneth

She halted in her tracks and turned around, catching sight of the muttered exchange between the two men. A smile tugged at the sides of her lips as she announced somewhat lazily ~ "I shall be situated right at the back... just as any sensible spellcaster would be."

Making her way past them, she glanced in their direction briefly, then made good her words. Before they could protest, she began chanting, swiftly and with such practised ease that to the ignorant, it was truly an awful feeling, wondering what she was up to.

When it was done, the whiffs of fumes dispersed and she smiled in satisfaction, first at herself, then at those who had watched her with expected suspicion ~ "That was a stoneskin spell."

And she stood, waiting for the leader to signal for their adventure.

OOC: Happy belated B-day larry, form Rev, and I.

IC: As the newcomer went to the rear Morguerat silently moved to the rear as well, "I'll be watching our back for anything that may try and sneak up on us, a good stout warior can at least take the brunt of an assault while you prepare a spell to save us all. "

*opening his cloak again he reached into his deeppocketted cloak and withdrew a light crossbow, and set the coin in place on the front with some soverein glue and set the coin on the front of the crossbow so that it would light whatever was in front of the crossbow, as well as the sides.
(OOC: since sovereign glue is a minor magical item and the use I put it to shouldn't be unbalancing I figured it would be ok, if not I'll edit my post accordingly). He then loaded a bolt, but refraned from pulling back the string, arming the weapon.

ooc: A quick question as I set up my next couple posts:

Judging by the last few posts it would seem that Brendon and Syrathic will be at the front of the party and that Morguerat and Rhianneth will be at the back. This would place Dankorona, Dantes, Ruby and Zachary in the middle. Is this correct? How far ahead of the group will Syarthic and/or Brendon be?

ooc: I think Syrathic is going to scout ahead, and when he encounters any difficulty (fork in tunnel, enemies, etc.) he'll report back. PM any info on the tunnel, Cyril.

OOC>>>Brendon will try to keep the elf in sight as much as possible, but will be closer to the party-body than the scout. Does that sound okay? I do not have a problem being the main body leader as we journey through the caverns if that is what everybody wants. I assume that this is an okay tactic. Am I wrong to be in the front?

OOC:i think it's fine for bendon to be in the front, i certainly don't want to be in the front of a range weapon!

OOC: You are an archer though, I would assume that we would want to put you near the rear or in the middle as opposed to up front. We really dont have any tank type fighters in our group besides Morgy. Dantes has a few levels as a kensai, so he can hold his own, but he would be far better use, casting spells. It would be better to have him near the front, but I can understand his need to RP his suspiciousness. I guess we can just hope that if we do get into a scuffle, it will be in a wider area.

BY the way happy belated birthday. I will do a complete post tomorrow
