Plus, there's always the Gimp, which only costs the time to download it.

Well, I guess I should add some other kind of large aquatic creature... but after making the whale, I feel sort of depleted
![]() Manikus did recommend the sealion (fantasy variant), which is also not that big, but I am never sure what color to make its scaly tail, which is what holds me back... As for buying software - I am already too used to MS Paint at this point that I usually just use that anyway ![]() ![]()

I think you mean Paint.net (which I've downloaded but not used yet, in fact I haven't even unzipped it yet).
The GIMP is in C++ and doesn't need .Net 2.0. |

Ah - I think you're right. I did try downloading some of the free paint software out there, but most of them had some kind of "flaw" (for me) that made them hard to use or otherwise unwieldy.

This is a small present for Uatu:
![]() I guess this Eurypterid is twice as big as the known specimen, however, for a fantasy setting it should be okay... |

Ah yes, I used different pics from the internet as a base, however, I changed them that much (perspective, leg position and number, pedipalpi altered, cheliceres added) that there should be no copyright issues.

Thanks for the nice present!
![]() That is very nice - doesn't look like you used pics as a base (looks well-animated, smoothed out, etc.). Looking up eurypterid in Wikipedia, I do see that indeed the maximum real-life size was about 7 feet long (but, who knows, maybe they will find a bigger one someday ![]() I wonder if there are AD&D statistics for this creature? ![]()

Oh, I forgot to mention - a bunch of new icons (as usual), in order of least favorite to favorite:
Juju Zombie (just a recoloring) Amphisbaena (erm...) Galeb Duhr (over-smoothed, I think) Larva (friends for the night hags) Nupperibo (fat blobs) Hanali Celanil, i.e. Elven Goddess of Love and Beauty Giant Black Squirrel (evil rodents are fun) Water Naga Chaggrin, i.e. Earth Grue Giant Octopus (my favorite, and most recent) I said I was going to lower the pace, but... ![]()

One reason for the decline and exctinction of the euryperids was probably their low speed compared to sharks and bonefish(es) (?). Therefore I would grant them low speed, high AC, low Thaco, but very high damage.
