I suppose not, although I am also waiting for anyone to post, if someone even just replies to my post then that will get the candle team up and going again. I think I know who you are talking about though.

Considering the distance described I've also been waiting for replies and some semblance of organisation to arise, but as there is none I will asume that there is, in fact, none, and post accordingly.

Here is a little assistance:

By nightfall, you asertain that you could stop for the night, and in the morning you'd make the journey to the foothills by late afternoon tomorrow.

The party leader for this group now has the option to continue travelling by night or to stop and rest.

Andrion: "Let us continue on. If we stop we risk being ambushed in the night." -he said to his companions. He stayed on his horse and trotted with him a few hundred meters away from the group to the top of a small hill which overlooks most of the area.

Roderik: "Horses have a much better nightsight than we do, this is true, but if we continue through the night we should do so on foot, so that the horses have a chance to rest." slipping down from his horse he readjusted his saddlebags to account for his missing weight, and began leading his horse by the reins. "Besides, I'd rather not have mine step into a gopher hole and break a leg."

Area description for the Candle Team:

Daylight is waning, and you can no longer see the mountains looming in the distance. There is enough light to see the immediate surroundings. All you can see is more dry plain. Grass used to grow here, but now is found only in patches. A few dead trees are sparsely spread across the plains. Bushes that are drought resistant area also spread around. You have a feeling that this once lush and green grassland is becoming a desert faster than is natural. Almost as if the life is being sucked from it.
A Pathway that was once well-traveled is now being overgrown with thorns and being lost. You assume that not many people travel this way anymore since the Mage owns the land in the distance. As your characters look about in the dimming light, you can see a figure far in the distance. As it comes closer, you are more aware of it's composition. A figure, riding upon a horse. The figure is reflecting the light of the waning sunset from his or her armor.

Andrion: "You are right Roderik the horses are tired. But even so I would not wish to stay here for the night. I say we rest half an hour and then continue on foot." Seeing no water sources nearby he poured a small amount of water from his flask into his cupped hand and gave the water to his horse. "What does everyone else think of a half an hour rest?"

Silt: "Yes, we should rest now, although I have no regrets of coming on foot this places seems to wear me out. And although I am as wary as the rest of you, I think it would be better to rest now and be on out toes than to be going in fatigued." And with that Silt walk off a little way, to let others have their say if it was needed. Walking into the distance he though, he noticed a figure, it was coming towards him, coming towards the encampment at a fast pace on horseback, and it had the look of a warrior. Quickly turning Silt shouted to the others. "Be wary, for there is another near us, and coming closer, be on your guard. Look, over there, can any of you see it?"

A recap of what has transpired: Roderik and Andrion debated on how long to rest and what was safe. Silt began to give his opinion when he noticed a stranger in the distance.

I think that the other two characters that are in this team that have not posted are only part-time actives on IW, as they seem to only have opportunity to play on the weekends. Until one or both girls say that they are pulling out of this game due to trouble getting time to logon, please consider them non-talking characters that are there, but not given a chance to voice an opinion. If we have to, we'll pull them out by making them go away in a very entertaining way.

That leaves three people only in this team that are daily participators. Silt, Roderik, and Andrion. Since Silt was the last to speak and pointed out a stranger in the distance, both Roderik and Andrion are up for posting, since the two other team members are baggage at this time. Once Roderik and Andrion have responded to Silt's cry of warning...then I am sure that Legolas can then play his character in-turn.

Sorry. As I had said before, Lyulfe is in company with Rong Er, and I had made 2 previous posts trying to engage Mistral's character in conversation, but she has yet to post. That's mostly the only reason why I have not posted for the candle group. I'll remedy that now.

It's hard to participate in a group and with your character's companion if your companion is not active

Skye, I was waiting for RevRuby to post. I'd like to give her a chance to post something on her own without us assuming she's tagging along. But unfortunately, she seems to still have limited time for posting.

Next time you want to post by yourself, do go ahead. I should be able to roleplay along as per normal, after your posts.

From what I am to understand now, Ruby has decided to tail the Necklace team instead of the Candle team. I have asked her something in PM, but she has not responded to the question yet.
