"You know i think that it would be kinda smart for me to go take refuge in that cave. since it is starting to get dark. dang i have been alone for what 30 seconds and iam already talking to myself. i just hope people here now how to speak basic."Dameon mutters to himself as he walks into the cave.

"I would rather stay here, Mistress Aliene." Kaltia said cooly, a reminder of the drunken sot who she had probably crippled moments before still visible in the bruise on her knuckles.
"In answer to your question, Lord Calaethis, I have been in this god-forsaken city for five years, though it seems longer." She shuddered and strectched, preparing to sleep against the wall....like a good little favoured slave.

Calaethis chuckles, "I'm no lord, although, its nice of you to address me as one." Glancing at his cousin, he muttered "Don't worry, I won't let it go to my head..."

hehe. oh yeah, I should tell you, Calaethis pronoces "Ali" as "Ellee" for the record

Later, when they'd all turned in, a few hours before dawn, Calaethis woke up shivering, and quietly walked over to her bed, calling out her name softly, his cousin sighed and replied "Yes Calaethis, what do you want now?" Calaethis replied "Ali... I'm so cold, I can't sleep". His couisn sighed again. "What do you want me to do about it? Oh all right, come here then" she said in exasperation. Slipping into her bed, Calaethis held out his arms to his cousin, as she sat up. Shaking her head, she embraced him. "You are cold Calaethis, you're freezing!" Calaethis nodded, and whispered, "I don't want to sleep on the floor again... may I sleep in here? Its warm in here and..." Calaethis trailed off, holding onto his cousin, "I'm sorry I've been such a pain recently... I honestly thought you were going to thrash me earlier..you had every right... even if you had just flicked me a couple of times with it..." Calaethis sighed deeply, and buried his head in his cousins arms. "Why am I here, Ali... is it because... you brought me here to grow up?" Calaethis sobs quietly, "I... love you Ali, as an elder sister, you've took care of me as a child... and... and... you're family... and... I'm tired... I'm so tired... thank you for bieng so patient with me," yawning he said "Even if you do punish me, I know you have my best intrests at heart and..." Calaethis drifts off in his cousins arms, looking up at her with childlike innocence.

Alliene ruffled Calaethis's hair, "Don't you worry. Now, get some sleep,"

In the morning Alliene woke Calaethis and Kaltia, then trotted over to Natha and woke him. The group made their way downstairs where her mothers was waiting with a map in her hands

"Good morning daughter," her eyes passed over Kaltia suspiciously but she didn't comment, "Please sit, I have located 3 citys which are what you've been looking for," she unfurled the map on the table and pointed out the locations

Alliene nodded, "Thank-you Matron Streea, this is more then we could have asked for," she glanced at the others, "Well, does this work with everyone else?"

"It is you're choice, cousin, as ever, I shall follow you're lead... erm, should I have asked for permission to speak?" asks Calaethis nervously glancing at his 'aunt'. "I shall obey you, as always, erm, but.. may I ask something?" Waiting for his cousin's permission to speak "Which cities are these? And are we still going to be in the underdark? I miss the surface, ah well, it should give me a chance to 'grow up'..." Calaethis breaks off.

OOC- Sir Goulum, since your the only paladin, why don't you act out most of the other people you talk to there? ^^;

IC- Skye pulled her arm roughly away from the paladin leading her into the same room as the surprised Sir Geldorn. "Leggo, I didn't do anything, I'm just looking for a little kid is all," she growled angrily.

"Sir, we caught this half-elf following you," the paladin explained.

"Thought you might have done something with the kid, I was just making sure," she muttered.

"What should we do with her? We believe she may have had dealings with the drow and the incident at the inn," he reported.

Skye stared up at Sir Geldorn sulkily. "What did you do with Damion? I know you have him!" she repeated angrily. "I don't care what you do with me, just give him back!"

OOC- create some more confusion/interest here... maybe shadow can show up now.

Matron Steea frowned and opened her mouth but Alliene quickly interjected

"Forgive him mother, he does not know our ways," she glared at Calaethis, "And yes, these cities are on the surface, and we'll be leaving today, make no mistake. Mother, Kaltia said she wished to remain here, so I suppose she will be under your order. Thank-you for everything..."

Calaethis flushed but said nothing. Looking at his cousin, his eyes formed the question "when do we leave? I mean, what TIME". Calaethis bowed to the Matron, "Forgive my ignorence, I won't speak out of turn again..."

"I'm sorry, madam. I have not heard of a man named Damion. But if he is in league with the Drow, we *will* find him." Geldorn said calmly to the, obviouly distressed elf.

"Let her go, Sir Grayn...I shall deal with her." Geldorn told the other Paladin. "I will make you a deal, m'lady. If I help you find your friend, you must help me find some drow that I have been trying to catch. They are dangerous, and must be detained. Will you accept?"

As Dameon walks deeper into the cave the light seems to run away from his visions. when he gets to almost complete darkness her sees out of the corner of his eye something moving. upon closer examination he sees about a bakers dozen of little green creatures skirting from rock to rock.
"You better come out or there is going to be hell to pay. at least iam not talking to myself anymore."
