My red quote was (Melissa) Auf Der Maur - Lightning Is My Girl

Here's a new one for red:
Too low to find my way
Too high to wonder why
I've touched this place before
Somewhere in another time
Now I can hear the sun
The clouds drifting through the blinds
A half a million thoughts
Are flowing through my mind

And a new yellow quote:

Mais je te le dis
Je n'irai pas plus loin
Mais je te préviens
J'irai pas à Paris
D'ailleurs j'ai horreur
De tous les flonflons
De la valse musette
Et de l'accordéon

Yellow would be Jacques Brel, but I can't remember the song title as I only heard the song a few times while with a french friend.

So, the only way I can put lyrics in, is if I guess one, right? Boy, I'm in big trouble. Somebody throw some obscure 80's stuff in there please!

Aight, new white. Hey, that rhymes.

What's with these homies dissin' my girl
Why do they gotta front
What did we ever do to these guys
That made them so violent

[Ooh-Ooh] But you know I'm yours
[Ooh-Ooh] And I know you're mine
And that's why...

ROTFL! It sounded familiar but I couldn't really place it, so I googled. Cool song, loved the video!

Oh and dplax, you're right, it is Jacques Brel. No one know which song?

Hiero, yours is Weezer's Buddy Holly. Inspired me to play the Blue Album again, good soundtrack for some repetitive Phonology homework.

New one for white.

Well, a fake Jamaican took every last dime with a scam
It was worth it just to learn from sleight-of-hand
Bad news comes don't you worry even when it lands
Good news will work its way to all them plans
We both got fired on the exactly the same day
Well we'll float on good news is on the way

Red was Thievery Corporation with Lebanese Blonde.
Yellow was Jacques Brel with Vesoul.

I think I've had just about every genre in the book and posted some of the most wildly divergent songs. Ah well.
Here goes again.

NEW QUOTE FOR RED:

I’m a shooting star leaping through the sky
Like a tiger defying the laws of gravity

NEW QUOTE FOR YELLOW:

She’s lost in coma where it’s beautiful.
Intoxicated from the deep sleep, deep sleep.
Do you wonder what it’s like living in a permanent imagination.
Sleeping to escape reality, but you like it like that.
