Well...she never was a member of my brigade,,,seeing as how her biggest enemy were the giants that were working on my behalf. I don't know that I can recruit her...but don't worry...I have somebody else set up to become that lead bad guy.

ooc: Since this is the first place in game where a direct indication of Joseph's level is required it seems appropriate to post that information here.

He is a 16th level Illusionist according to 1st edition rules.

I've been pushing Joseph a bit past his physical limits here because the party needed someone to step up -- the permament constitution loss and the present hit point loss attempt to reflect this.

I can't credibly have him do much more than this without verging into him becoming an overpowered character rather than a very effective although limited and flawed character. I also do not want to cheapen the accomplishment of breaching the Mage's tower by not taking it's draining effects seriously - that would not be fair to the real power of the Modding Mage. Joseph simply does not have many physical or magical resources left.

The tower group is going to need to find some way past Grey as all Joseph is going to be able to do for the time being is keep himself out of immediate danger. After all heroic type stuff is best done heroes and he's just a guy named Joe.

No, I did not want to risk going blind or getting neutered by a spell...

By the way, Cyril gave his permission and even wrote the dialog in my post. That's why he was quoted there.
