Verloren did eventually come find him. Her eyes were red-rimmed from lack of sleep,
"So there you are. I was wondering where you had gotten off to." A hand rested on Isak, "I saw and heard everything last night, so spare me explanations and excuses. I also heard Alliene mention something about torturing you when she took some healing scrolls." Her eyelids were no longer the only part of her eyes that were red, "After what you pulled last night, I'm almost sorry you're not dead." Her eyes narrowed, "I don't want you here, Calaethis. You're a danger to the ones I love, and I shouldn't have to tell you not to kill my sister. It's insulting, and it hurts. We're leaving soon. Don't follow." The queen whirled on her heel and stalked off before the elf could say anything.

Signiture Lb! Bad you Talk to you on AIM or MSN, ok?

Verloren froze as a hold person spell hit her. "I have no excuses, or explanations; but you will listen. Forget that as a ranger, I have clerical magic? To your cost. The spell will wear off soon enough; but for now, you will watch and listen." the elf was calm; too calm. "Sorry I am not dead? That can be ratified. But first; as you do not want me here; I will leave, and I will not follow." The elf walked up to the half elf, and tenderly touched her cheek, "Been crying?" he asked with infinate gentleness. "Perhaps not." he whispered, "A favour before I leave? This is the only thing I ask for from you; the only thing I would beg for. Tyra; and her sister, Sylquis; take care of them for me, please?" The elf met the half-elf's eyes. "Another time; another place, I would have asked for your forgiveness. But we are past that. You wish me dead? You will have to watch. As for your sister; I never tried to kill her. Enjoy the rest of your life half-elf; for because of you, your sister, and the mistakes I made; I cannot enjoy mine. Farewell."

Calaethis didn't have his elven chain on, but he did have Tagnik in it's shealth. Focusing on the pain he'd recieved at his cousin's head; he forced that pain into the sword; and it screamed mentally with pain; echoing though Verloren's head. Calaethis grinned; "See what your sister's torture did to me? I can override my survival instinct that I myself, placed with this very blade; watch closely; you will not get another chance to see it drink into my lifeblood." The elf had drawn the blade; and it glowed red in the light; and it's usual white aura had faded, "NO!" it screamed as it slammed into the elf. The elf had fallen to his knees, his eyes bright with joy; and unshead tears within them. He was looking though Verloren, and blood trickled down his mouth. The hold spell person still bound Verloren; and struggle as she might; she could not move. The elf outstreeched his left hand, and looked at it, almost surprised at the blood, though his dying breath, he whispered, "So you... do not ...have to... touch me." the elf closed his own eyes, and fell facedown at the half elf's feet, almost dead; the last of his blood seeping out, as the hold person spell wore off; Tagnik lay in the elf's right hand, Cal having tugged the blade out of him. The blade was still very much alive, "DESTROY ME!" it screamed, Sssiks'barra changing though the various colours so quickly, it was not only a blur; it was painful to the eyes... then it turned gold; and slowly started fading, as it's master died. Tagnik cried out, "The link... its severed...! ...I... am alone..." the sword let out a wail of grief, louder then any dragons.

Verloren cursed Calaethis for casting the spell, when she suddenly stumbled forward. She glanced back, knowing the spell should have lasted longer. Alliene was behind her, flail over her shoulder, looking so much like her late mother the only difference was the color and intesity of her sister's eyes.

Alliene strode past Verloren and picked up Tagnik, causing the screaming blade to go silent, "I'm sorry he made you watch that. I see he took the coward's way out." She shoved him with her foot and hefted the sword, "I'll take care of this." Alliene then sat on a nearby rock, held the sword close to her face, and closed her eyes. Verloren could tell her sister had gone into some kind of trance.

Time seemed to drag. Silence fell. Verloren shifted uneasily, her eyes searching. A breeze that had been blowing stopped. Animal sounds had quieted. Her gaze finally settled on Calaethis. There was someone standing next to him.

The drow smiled at Verloren. She was stunning, with hair reaching her ankles. Verloren managed to open her mouth, but the woman's hand came up, stalling her.
"Greetings, child. Do not be afraid. I have merely come to fix what should not have happened." Violet eyes took in Alliene, "I see she has left behind her watery blood to give fully into her drow. I can't say I'm dissapointed. She will be a wonderful successor."

Verloren gasped. Shar smiled.
"I see you recognize me now." She looked at Calaethis, "He still lives, and you will restore him." It was clearly an order, not a suggestion, "If he asks why, tell him he still has a part to play in this life." The goddess reached down and touched his head. A breif glow enveloped him, "Should he chose to kill himself again, he will find himself unable to." She said with satisfaction.

Shar moved over to Alliene and laid her hand atop her head, closing her eyes. Alliene's brow twitched. Shar must have been giving instructions.

Suddenly, reality crashed down on Verloren. She looked around wildly. Shar was gone, Alliene was still on her rock, and Calaethis was on the ground. Verloren immediatley began her restoration spell.

Tagnik screamed in Alliene's hand, "Release me!" Calaethis lay at Verlorens feet, and looked up at her, his eyes open again. "Why?" he asked softly, "You... wished me dead. I granted that... why do I still breathe? the elf looked confused, and fell silent, his eyes just glazing up at Verloren.

"Make your damn mind, you bloody sword!" Alliene shouted at Tagnik. Cursing it, she drove the blade into the turf and stalked off.
Verloren watched her sister go with a pained expression, then she turned to Calaethis, her eyes hardening, "You still have things to do in this life, thats why. Now get up, I want to get to this Lord's place before I lose my child in stress." She threw up frustrated hands and followed Alliene.

Cal pushed himself to his feet, and went to retrieve Tagnik. Replacing the blade in it's shealth, he followed Verloren into the "house" and went upstairs to his room. Once there, he stripped, and climbed into bed; and sobbed his heart out.

Skye gave Verloren an uncertain smile, slightly fazed by everything that had occurred in the night. Nodding, she said “Let me go find him. It is daytime already, so it should be relatively safe to travel now.” After approaching Genshatoki and having a short conversation with him from a distance, involving many gestures towards Verloren and other members of the party. Skye walked back to Verloren, with Genshatoki a short distance behind. Giving a small polite bow the sage said “Yes, we may leave now. We would not have had to stop in the first place, but because of…” he paused, gesturing, “…unforeseen incidents, we were delayed. But we will reach Lord Lyulfe in due time.

Not much later, the company was assembled and quickly traveling by dragon over mountain peaks. The hurt Silver was kept in human form and carried in a stretcher between two dragons Genshatoki had summoned. After awhile, the dark forest thinned out beneath them and gave way to small cottages and farms. “Look ahead, my friends!” the sage shouted over the wind in order to be heard, pointing a short distance ahead. “There lies the major city Kyono, center of Lord Lyulfe’s lands. This is where we shall keep you safe.”

As the dragons slowly spiraled downwards in descent, the party looked at the many stone spires and domes that formed the rooftops of the medium sized city. Landing gently near a building with a roof of glinting copper, the party stepped down from the dragons onto the marble inlayed ground. “You are currently in the large outer courtyard. This is where we have messenger dragons land, as well as important guests,” Genshatoki explained. “Normally Lord Lyulfe would come out to greet you, but he is having an important meeting with his chancellors, and other people of high status in his land. If you will follow me, please…”

The party was led through a cool stone passageway, to another side outdoors. There, a large pavilion was set up, with three chairs placed on a wooden stage of sorts above the others, with the middle chair higher than the two on either side. Sitting in the left-hand chair was a man dressed in crimson robes. His head was shaved, and he had tattoos marked on him like the infamous red wizards of Thay. His narrowed, aqua blue eyes looked down on the people below cruelly, as he twitched a darkly tanned hand in the direction of the boy fanning him, who quickly scampered away. The man in the middle, on the other hand, appeared to be enjoying himself, despite looking a little haggard. His purple-azure eyes, coloured the same odd shade as Skye’s, sparkled as he laughed at a joke someone said to him, his slightly sharp teeth flashing in what little sun that was able to get under the pavilion. His brown hair had an unusual sea-blue tint to it, and was pulled carelessly back into a shoulder-length ponytail with a black ribbon. His outfit was that of a well-off adventurer, which would give the occasional foreigner the wrong impression that he was someone who had stumbled across some riches in his travels, if it weren’t for the revered attitude everyone was treating him with. The chair to this man’s right was empty.

“Milord, the company has arrived,” Genshatoki announced in a loud voice, and all noise faded away as everyone’s attention was directed towards the newcomers. The party noticed that sometime during their walk the ageless sage had tidied himself up and was dressed in gray and blue robes, and his unruly silver-gray hair was spiked and smoothed back. Turning his head, the steel earring in his left ear catching the light, he nodded reassuringly at them, blinking his two mismatched eyes at them – one a golden brown, the other a weird steel-gray. “You may approach,” a haughty, don’t-mess-with-me-‘cuz-I’m-not-nice voice said. The two men stood as Genshatoki ushered the party forward. “Mistress Alliene, would you be so gracious as to introduce your group?” Genshatoki asked politely, with another one of his customary bows. During this time, Skye was staring at the man who had been sitting in the middle seat, while the man to his left was staring at her. From the crowd, two pairs of eyes narrowed at the sight of her, and one of them disappeared into the masses.
