You came close to having it kicked. In the end, the only thing that kept you standing was the extra 15hp you get from the beserker rage.

But Kharn has an extremely effective combination of a very low AC combined with lots of HP.

When it comes to arena combat, that's the best formula for survival.

However, I've been thinkig of introducing some NPC's into the Octagon. I want to try out some different character classes that don't get played often.

My first entry will be a straight magic-user. Caleb has issued a challenge to spellcasters and Encard and Mortilas are the only two that may be around right now (Morgan off on Army duty). If neither of them accept his challenge, I will pick up the guantlet.

Don't worry - I promise I will play the NPC's fairly. I WILL play them to win, but the dice will determine the outcome.

I don't think I would make such a good spellcaster
I decline.
Although if Caleb wishes he can face me in just melee

Actually, i think there's still my challenge to Grindall lying around...

IC: Encard moos and accepts the Biscuit King's challenge, wondering if it'll be possible to get a cow to eat people.

Hey dont complain, now he gets new powers to help in our 3 v 3 fights

I also issue an open challange to anyone, NPC or otherwise.

And we need some more challangers to take on the reigning champions of 3v3 matches
I was meaning to ask you about that, is my char a bit more powerful then he should be? Do I need to tone him down a bit to make it more fair?

Actually, Knuckles Akirason was the first to "level-up". Even though he lost to Orrg Uggh, he still had enough experience points to "level-up". I just forgot to add that at the end and Knuckles hasn't fought anymore since then.

AzureWolf, your character is fine. He IS very tough and there are only a couple of other fighters that could stand toe-to-toe with him, but there are other ways to win a fight. Characters that are less powerful just have to come up with better strategies.

If you're willing, I'll show you what I mean. Since Encard has stepped up to accept Caleb's challenge, I will face Kharn with my NPC magic-user. I've been wanting to try him out and this will be a good test.

What do you say? Care to face a wimpy mage in single combat?

Since we've got some fights scheduled, I will be needing some tactics.

I need tactics for the following fights.

1) Caleb vs Encard
2) Orrg Uggh vs Hill Giant
3) Neb vs Knuckles (if both parties agree to the fight, that is)
4) Kharn vs NPC mage (if Kharn accepts the challenge).

Also, Neb and Caleb should go ahead and send tactics for thier re-match.

Same goes for Encard vs Grindall. It isn't officially scheduled yet, because I haven't seen Grindall around for the last couple of pages, but I'm sure he will accept.

So go ahead and get your tactics to me and I will start working on the fights when I can.
