IC: Dagorion breaths a sight of relief and stands up. Walking towards the door(and making sure that there are no traps or holes for him to step in) Dagorion pokes his head through the doorway.

OK, i`m guessing it`s fairly safe to assume the only Dagorion wants to go on with this; and so, without further delay:

As you walk through the door, you end up in a dark room; you can`t find any way of getting back out. A sudden light shines from nowhere in particular; and you find yourself on a large black and white checkered board; with 2 rows of statues lined up at either end. White statues on the near end, black on the far. There is no way to move around the board, or to cross it: you will have to play your way through.

Make your move.

Dagorion wanders what sick master-mind would have the stupidity to rip off Harry Potter. Shrugging he realises that he allways lost the games of chess he played agains his cat and hopes that he can win against a tower. Dagorion starts playing and within 5 minutes looses all pices but 3 pawns a knight and his king.

As the game progresses, you miss several cues: luckily, so does whoever is at the other end.
After what seems like several hours of playing, the Black king implodes, leaving his crown sitting on a pile of rubble. Evidantly, the tower has less experience than your familiar.
The board disapears in a flash; and you are left staring into nothingness. A heavily robed figure appears in the distance...

Instead of feeling joy at winning Dagorion is only filled with dissmay that there is someone who plays chess worse then him and wanders if the world if doomed if all people are as bad at the game as whoever was playing. Looking at the robed figure he wanders what mind-numbing activity fate has install for him now.

The figure approaches you slowly... it sneds several Magic Missles flying in your direction.

Dagorion wanders how long he has had a dyslexic DM for but decides it doesnt matter. Taking the missiles in the chest Dagorion fires several high level cormatic orbs at the figure.

The Mage dodges the Orb, but is still severely scared from it`s passing heat.
He quickly raises his staff, and chants some words foreign even to you, a skilled Bladesinger. Massive burts of energy leap out of the end of the staff, which then collapses as the hellish face sneers evily.

The Wizard collapses on your first strike, his robes fall to the ground.
Searching them, you find nothing. Not even the body.

The tower starts collapsing around you, too fast to escape from...
