You are not keeping anyone from posting at this time, so feel comforted...but they actually are very close to getting there to your rescue and I hope you can take part in the fight.

Look who's here folks! He's back! Back and posting again.

http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...;f=34;t=001733

Excerpts from his final days in the LoF Battle:

Quote:
fighting a losing battle madman knew he would have to do something pretty special to survive at least! casting invisiblity he crept in immense pain behind the dragon and stood right on its back , paused justfor a second and drove his blade into gargantuan beast's back making a big enough opening for the deranged oe to climb inside...
********************************************
Once inside the roaring dragon madman again drew his blade hacked viciosly at the beasts innards severing veins and piercing organs.
********************************************
Waking up , as if from the best, most fulfilling sleep of his life madman was in a comfortable sqaushy soft bed...........mmmmmmmmmmmm this is the life.. i wonder who won the battle, it was then the smell hit him , madman wondered what could be producing such a rank stench? worse even than his own? madman sat up and looked at his bed curiously....he had fallen asleep inside the dragon and currently lay in a nice big pile of its recently departed dragon droppings......ewww
shaking his head he arose ''shudder...but i wonder what happened here who won? or does the battle rage on?....seems quiet...
*********************************************
striding toward neb and smelling none too fresh was rogovich....

'' good day friend like a hand been inside one o those before y'know' madman strode toward the dragon

'' CMON YOU BIG NONCE!!!!!!!!''

*************************************************
Seeing the fool sink into the mud madman arose too and drew his mindblade.. MAY I >>??? he walked toward the newly formed mudpit and raised his blade..we serve noone my friend...noone that is except for a common interest but oppose us and ye will surely die...RIG SPEECH OVER DIE!!! madman swung his blade in the hope of removing the fighter of good's head.....
************************************************

madman saw dantes standing before the defeated mage.....scorched and in agony madman rose his skin boots still smouldering...he slowly paced towards date...''neat trick'' he hissed as he pressed the poit of his bladeagainst the fighters back.
*************************************************

Madman had made a lucky escape and from a safe distane he lit hid pipe and watched the fireworks

*************************************************

1. Elif said he had a post coming up for Vincent.
2. Tao has all the information she needs to catch up.
3. If Cyril or Morgie would like to post anything before I move Larry onward through the tower, now's the time...for I will move the party closer to our goal after school tomorrow afternoon.

I'm just waiting on others at the moment, not really much for Morguerat to do, nor does Yevaud really have anything to do until Elif makes his move.

It took me that long, but I finally found the one last thing that Echo could do...and which would probably be the last thing standing in our way from getting out of this Tower with what we came here for.

Reguarding Senora: I am really wishing that there was some way to hear back from Salinye and make sure she is okay. I don't want to drop her character without letting her know that I am about to. But in fairness to all the others that have died for innactivity, I will have to do something soon.

I changed the last post where the arrows were whizzing by us in the Tower.

I have learned something more on hit points and how they are to be considered. Really, we all have the same "life" points, but the higher in level means the more skilled, or whatever...and therefore, a level 15 fighter might take only 5hp damage because he dodged the blunt of an attack and only took a minor scrape...where as a lesser man would have taken the jab to the heart and died. HP does not always reflect physical attack success from the attacker. I'll be attempting to incorporate this more as I learn how to do so, and if any of you have any questions or concerns during game play...you're more than welcome to post here about it.

The spell Joseph used is called Solid Fog it's effect upon movement is great - the 1e source I used states it decreases character movement by a factor of 10. That seems a bit much so we don't need to be as dramatic as that. The combination of obscurement and hampered movement will hopefully be effective in buying a fair bit of time and relative safety in the present situation.

Re: Senora/Salinye.

I was able to track down a usuable e-mail and asked her what was going on these days. She responded with this:

Quote:

I'm on the fly and will respond more later, but wanted you to know that I've been having MAJOR computer issues and need to wipe my entire system. I got some nasty virus and can't hardly work this stupid thing and only get emails about half the time from what I can tell. I can't even mail out from my main email account, but only this one. It's very annoying.
Since she is making efforts to become active again, I will not remove her life from the game, but will be working on placing her in a "relatively safe place" until which time she can resume play again. This...safe place...will remove her from game play for as long as it takes to get her back online. I did this before with other players...the most notable was with Mistral and Skye's characters...where a huge bird swooped down and stole them away to its nest high on the Southern Mountains...where they awaited for the eggs to hatch so that they could become a meal to the new babies.
