Verrion Sieg 22/24

Verrion looked at the hypnotised lizard and tried to see if it was hurt any more. "Yes, I am fine. My arm... tingles a bit, but it feels like it will go away." he shaked his arm for a moment, then looked at Drusalia and asked "You are alright, yes?"

Drusalia 22/22

"I'm alright. Though that healing was unexpected. Let me have a look at that arm of yours."

Drusalia took Verrion's arm into her hands and murmured a few words. (OOC: casting cure light wounds from racial abilty for 1D8+1 HP, which is at least 2)

Drusalia then walked over to the lizard and touched its scaly skin, while trying to communicate both mentally and with gestures with the animal.

"Everything is all right calm down now. We do not wish you harm. We only wish to travel through your territory. We are sorry to have intruded. We shall leave now."

While doing this she turned to Aeriah and asked him in a soft whisper:

"Are you allright? I saw you took a full blast of whatever this normally peaceful creature attacked with."

Smiling without regard for his own wounds, Aeriah answered softly "I will be fine, in time. I am more concerned about this poor creature. I have healed his wounds, and I suspect that he will make a full recovery soon."

Reaching down to pet the lizard on the head, the monk did not seem to mind that it had almost killed him. "I'm just glad no one else was seriously hurt." frowning slightly, he added, "At least, I hope not."

Nearby, Kyr was sobbing in Fai's hair, still upset at having being shocked by the lizard, the static still making her hair stand up on end. The little pixie refused to say anything, or to talk to anyone, just clinging to Fai, even ignoring Aeriah who sighed.

The elf looked down at the lizard again and said simply, "Return to your home; you are safe now."

The lizard seemed to afraid to move, just staring up at the monk in fear.

Drusalia 22/22

As Aeriah spoke to the lizard Drusalia looked at the creature. She spotted the fear in its eyes and its unwillingness to move.

"Aeriah I think you scare the creature and as long as you are near it, it shall not move. I suggest we move some distance away, so as not to influence it."

"Of course it is afraid," shrugged the elf casually, "I hold the power to both slay and heal it - why would it not fear me? He did not seem to realise just how arrogant he sounded at that moment, and he shrugged again, "But I agree, we should keep going. We have done enough harm here already." Casting on last look at the lizard, he sighed, "It knows me to be its better; superior, and if I were a lizard like it, I could take its mates, kin or whatever it holds domain over - that is why it fears me. Rest assured though," he spoke, addressing the lizard, "I won't." Petting it again, the lizard seemed to ease up a little, its fear gradually fading.

With a rumble and a snort, it nudged Aeriah with its head, rubbed its crest against his leg in a show of submission and trotted off, its long legs easily carrying it. Frowning, the elf watched it go, and blinked in surprise when it returned, rolling a single, large, oval egg and presenting it before his feet. Frowning still, the elf asked softly, "What is this? An offering?" when he did not take it, the lizard snorted, nudging the egg towards him more insistantly this time. The shell was a mild beige with spotted yellow streaks upon it. It was, maybe as large as fourteen inches by six.

Fairioni pauses and swings around while eminating an aura of love and attempting to calm the pixie down, letting her sob as she says in a very quiet voice "Thank you Aeriah.. " and waits there for the rest "If all of you are coming?"

Aeriah was acting strangely, but Drusalia decide not to comment on it. Instead she prepared to leave, collecting her spent arrows from the ground. Then she looked up, surprised upon seeing the lizard returning.

She put a hand over the lizard again and asked it:

"Do you want us to keep this?"

Artelm 16/18

Artelm had sneaked off behind a tree as soon as he had hit the damned lizard; taking care to make sure it didn't notice him. He was quite surprised that the others wanted to leave the lizard alive and a threat, and even healed it. He decided he was outlawed enough at the present time however, and kept his thoughts to himself, wondering what Able would make of everything.

Artelm didn't know why he saught to kill the Lizard, but could only justify to himself that it had struck him first. When the others all crowded round it he revealed himself and ran over in a small number of quick small steps. He watched the Lizard bring over an egg. "What's it doing? Artelm asked nonchantly, at no one in particular, gazing all the while at the Lizard. Maybe they were cleverer creatures than he had first thought.
