My wife had warned me about that. She has lots of friends, but maybe 10% or fewer have ever contacted her (it goes without saying that she hasn't contacted the 90%).

I only signed up a couple of weeks ago, as part of a class assignment. So, for me, it's all good. I wasn't really looking for anybody, so when a couple of folks and I got in contact it was pretty cool.

I think most people are just sort of mtually satisfied with knowing that they have made the connection (and can someday further this), but don't really need to do any more (for now).

When I first joined, I was all like, "I'll be friends with people I know I'll keep in (email) touch with." I had a goal of sending an email to everyone, of rekindling some old friendships, of, I don't know, being a more conscientious friend. But, ya, that's not going to happen.

Not to say that I wouldn't carry on conversations with any one of the people I'm friends with, it's just very unlikely that I'll initiate anything. Ironically, I'm sure that each of my friends is thinking the same thing.

Well, some friends I haven't seen for... like 18 years or so Some of them I did send some kind of conversation, but it doesn't tend to last for very long.

I guess I'm not surprised. I expect it will be the same for me. If the person and I didn't bother to talk once since high school graduation, odds are a conversation started through facebook will be pretty much a "Hello. And, what do you do?"

On a Tiny Adventures note, with my last couple of level 4 'adventure', I started keeping tracking of the attribute checked in the final encounter, so that if I had to do it again I could bring the proper potion.

Level 1-
Curse of the Wolf Moon -> STR
Cutthroats of Crawling Bog -> AC
Sins of the Saltmarsh -> INT (Magic)
Stronghold of the Drow -> Attack Bonus

Level 2-
Book of the Four Gods -> CON
City Beneath the Streets -> CHA
Heart of the Goblin King -> DEX
Tomb of the Lizard King -> Attack Bonus

Level 3-
Rescue at Rivenroar -> INT
The Haunted Streets of Agamentar -> STR (Magic)
The Paladin's Curse -> WIS (Undead)
Tomb of Terror -> Attack Bonus
Wrath of the Orc Lord -> CON

Level 4-
Devil of Drakewood -> DEX
Keep on Coilspine Ridge -> AC (Traps)
Mystery of the Moaning Mine -> Attack Bonus
The Vampire of Fallcrest -> WIS (Undead)

Level 5-
Arcane Tower of Senraven -> AC (Magic)
Fortress of the Fire Lord -> Attack Bonus
Sleeper in the Tomb of Dreams -> CHA (Magic)
Vanished in the Night -> INT

Level 6-
Dragonjaw Dungeon -> STR (Dragons)
Glacier of the Frost Giant -> DEX (Giants)
Red Plume Mountain -> WIS
Vale of Shadows -> CON

Level 7-
Gates of Blizzard Peak -> INT (Magic)
Hidden Shrine of Nahautl -> CHA
Into the Ogre's Den -> STR
Maze of Madness -> INT

Level 8-
Citadel of Sorrows -> CHA
Monster Isle -> DEX
Song of the Dark Druid -> Attack Bonus (Magic)
Tree Temple of the Elfwood -> WIS

Level 9-
Adventure in the Forbidden City -> CON
Echoing Hall -> AC (Giants)
On the Shores of Despair -> WIS
Tower of Darkness -> CHA (Magic)

Level 10-
Cult of the Lizard God -> Attack Bonus
Dungeon of Dread -> AC (Magic)
Raid on Nightmare Castle -> STR
Temple of the Four Elements -> CON (Magic)

The events that happen do seem random, but some adventures definitely have a tendency to require more WIS, INT, etc. (I always get this wrong, of course...)

According to the F.A.Q. the only things that are constant about an adventure are the number of events and the final event. Then there are keywords for an event that mean it will likely be one of two characteristics - but you can't know that in advance since they're mostly random. I've noticed, replaying several adventures a couple of times each, that there are several events that remain the same so that maybe a quarter of the events are the same, but you don't know which ones until you play the adventure a second time.

Some events are apparently rare (special!), and say so in the event name (i.e., "(Rare)"). Of course, the only one I ever got, I failed my roll and thus don't know what I could have received from that if I succeeded

I don't think I've ever noticed a (Rare) event. I have seen Undead several times, but not as much as you would think- the event is fighting a spectre but it's not tagged as Undead. I've also seen Giants, Constructs, Magic and one more that I can't seem to remember. I haven't noticed the loot being any better, but they do seem to offer better XP.

There is some interesting "loot" (made more interesting by the fact that they call it loot) available as you get to the higher levels. Today I have gotten two "Dragonscale of Bahamut" holy symbols, and Adamantine Greataxe and a Vorpal Greatsword.

I'll update the adventure list above tomorrow when I get home from school.
