Damn. Now you've made me hungry... and it's only five past eight in the morning here

Ahhhhh, that's great stuff. I thought of a couple like that. I want to do one with making incredible meals with JUST meat and potato . But thanks
I will definitely take these

Hmm, that's how I usually work. But I have to take into consideration that my kitchen is already prepped with alot of ingredients (because my mom cooks alot- and I just mooch off her ingredients lol ). So, I'd have to get a good understanding on what "normal" people usually have lying aroud . But this is a very possible/ useful article, whooo.

Yeah, Soy beans are amazing. I wanted to do an article about how you can use Soy in almost everything. (and making stuff from soy, you know like tofu and soy milk )

AHhh, well you'll see plenty of those. They're going to be a tad different, because its more Nepalese cuisine than indian, but I'll be sure to do some good Indian ones. You'll see alot of stuff - south asian.

Yes, well I supposed we could attribute the shortage of kobolds to the great hunt ages ago.

Still I'll settle for scrapple with maple syrup. For those who don't know the idea is similar to haggis but without the stomach. At the same time, I'm sure those who've had both would say they are completely different animals.... emm, no pun intended.

Scrapple I've had, haggis, no, but I've seen it made. So as I've said the idea is similar. But scrapple is pretty much pork, and haggis as I understand it comes primarily from sheep.

From wikipedia:
Scrapple
Quote:
Scrapple is a savory mush of pork scraps and trimmings combined with cornmeal and flour, often buckwheat flour. The mush is formed into a loaf, and slices of the scrapple are then fried before serving. Scraps of meat left over from butchering, too small to be used or sold elsewhere, were made into scrapple to avoid waste. Scrapple is best known as a regional food of Delaware, South Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.

Composition
Scrapple is typically made of hog offal, such as the head, heart, liver, and other scraps, which are boiled with any bones attached (often the entire head), to make a broth. Once cooked, bones and fat are discarded, the meat is reserved, and (dry) cornmeal is boiled in the broth to make a mush. The meat, finely minced, is returned, and seasonings, typically sage, thyme, savory, and others are added. The mush is cast into loaves and allowed to cool thoroughly until gelled. The proportions and seasoning are very much a matter of the region and the cook's taste.

Commercial scrapple often contains these traditional ingredients, with a distinctive flavor to each brand. A few manufacturers have introduced beef and turkey varieties and color the loaf to retain the traditional coloration derived from the original pork liver base.

Vegetarian scrapple, made from soy protein or wheat gluten, is offered in some places. It is seasoned to be much sweeter than typical meat scrapple.
Haggis
Quote:
Haggis is a traditional Scottish dish.

There are many recipes, most of which have in common the following ingredients: sheep's 'pluck' (heart, liver and lungs), minced with onion, oatmeal, suet, spices, and salt, mixed with stock, and traditionally boiled in the animal's stomach for approximately three hours.

Haggis somewhat resembles stuffed intestines (pig intestines otherwise known as chitterlings or the kokoretsi of traditional Greek cuisine), sausages and savoury puddings of which it is among the largest types. As the 2001 English edition of the Larousse Gastronomique puts it, "Although its description is not immediately appealing, haggis has an excellent nutty texture and delicious savoury flavour." (p592)

Most modern commercial haggis is prepared in a casing rather than an actual stomach. There are also meat-free recipes for vegetarians.

It is often asserted (e.g., on the packaging of MacSween's haggis) that the dish is traditionally served with "neeps and tatties" (Scots: swede, yellow turnip or rutabaga and potatoes; these are boiled and mashed separately) and a "dram" (i.e. a glass of Scotch whisky). However, it might perhaps be more accurate to describe this as the traditional main course of a Burns supper, since on other occasions haggis may be eaten with other accompaniments. Whisky sauce (made from thickened stock and Scotch whisky) has recently been developed as an elegant addition.
Sadly living in Florida means my access to scrapple is limited. There's a PennDutch store not too far away but I've yet to see if they carry it.
