I'm having a tiny problem. I made another copy of my demo, this one I don't want -my- part to be selectable on, went in and deleted everything in the save file. But when I start a game, the characters are still there. What's going on?

If a design is used in the editor, the characters are saved in a different folder called "CharSave", stored in the root Dungeon Craft folder. You just need to delete the characters from there, or test outside of the editor. If you use the start link in the design folder, it should be fine.

I'm playtesting right now, I set the starting exp to make the average character level three. But my Magic-User keeps getting killed in the very first battle. I'm still tinkering with the difficultyof my demo.

The rule of thumb in pen and paper AD&D is to have the total number of monster levels (dice) be equal to or lesser than the total number of levels for the PC/NPC party. In DC, you can probably go a little higher right now b/c many monsters are kind of weak without their special abilities and a good AI.

Nope, not a rule, a "rule of thumb".
