Do you have a link to that? I don't remember reading about it at all.

I saw a clip of her making the comparison on the Daily Show/Colbert Report a few times.

edit: and here's an article about it.

I think this is what he means.

My favourite is the sniper fire story though lol. Man, how bad is her memory?

I am so glad this process is finally over, I had no choice but to follow it because the news is saturated. I thik Clinton came out looking worse, even her husband Bill. I don't think he is as popular now (52 million in speeches before this campaign started!). But wow, thank god it's ending, what a mine-field for all candidates to navigate. And it is so drawn-out it's like controversy is just a filler to bridge the gap. The media is insanely powerful now compared to when the timeline and rules of the democratic campaign were created. They need to make it 9 months at least. Maybe 6, to at least get to know the runners.

From what I read, neither Barack nor Hillary has much of a chance against McCain. Although what I read could easily have been idle threats, it does ring some truth:

If Clinton wins the nomination, all of Obama's supporters will vote for McCain.

If Obama wins the nomination, all of Clinton's supporters will vote for McCain.

They will do this out of spite.

Remember, this is only what I've read. It may have just been things people say before the matter is at hand and something they could easily renege when it comes to the actual voting time.

Where do I stand personally? Sorry, I don't share that information because I don't like people thinking negative things about me. Certainly it would not matter which side I choose, there will be SOMEONE to ridicule my decision. So, I try to stay in a neutral position, not supporting either side. I wait until the day before elections to make a decision and once I have voted, it is over and I do not share my vote with anyone.

I will say this:
Not one single candidate is being viewed from a completely objective point of view. Everyone has inserted their personal feelings, most of which are based on the crap the media tries to feed us, about each of the candidates and are NOT viewing them fairly AT ALL.

Bush is NOT as bad as everyone makes him out to be. Most of the things he did were good decisions but they were put into a terrible light by the media making him seem like a jerk, an idiot, and more. This is simply not true. DO NOT believe what you see in the media!

I only say this about Bush because of what people are saying about McCain. Certainly McCain has been made out to be "the next Bush" as he has stated his support for some of the things Bush has initiated. If this is what you are basing your opinion of McCain on, I strongly urge you to do YOUR OWN research and quit believing all the CRAP in the media that makes him out to be the next Bush. The fact is, McCain is 10x the leader Bush is and he is 10x more qualified. Just because he agrees with some of Bush's decisions does NOT make him "the next George Bush" and to believe it does would be folly. Do your research!

As far as Obama and Clinton... both have been ridiculed by the other. The media has attacked both of them with wreckless abandon! Do not believe ANYTHING the media says about either of these two! There are so many lies floating around about these 2, it's nearly impossible to tell where either of them REALLY stand on many of the issues. It's impossible to determine just how good of a president either will make without doing your own research.

And let us all remember, wikipedia is NOT a trustworthy source for your research!

And for some added context, Morgan Tsvangirai just got arrested by Mugabe's troops.

I wonder when Obama's secret police is going to come for Hillary...

There's a reasonable chance they will end up on the same ticket though, with Hillary as the VP candidate.

LOL!! Canada is SOOO under-rated! They are actually a world power and most Americans don't even give them a second thought...

Until they need healthcare then they travel to Canada for cheap, resonable treatment. Then they forget it exists again.

I once heard a comedian say that Canada was like America's attic. You completely forget about it until you go up there, and then you say, "Oh my God! I totally forgot about all of this! Look, there's people here, and all kinds of stuff."

I myself love Canada. I've been there a few times, and I've considered moving up there- not for the common liberal "If they elect him, I'm outta here" reasons, but for the reason that Montreal is really just an awesome place.
