may I say "mwa" and indeed "haha", or as I like to do it "mwahaha"...I would like AAs more as a class if you didn't have to have elven (pointy-ears) blood []

Au contraire! I have a Rogue 16, Wiz 2, AA 22 who buckles quite... erm, swashingly? Well at any rate he does quite well in EfU. I also have several R/F/WM and for those I recommend (for a dex build) specializing in dagger, mace, or short sword- each has several excellent specimens in EfU, even on the upper levels. There are other very cool weapons but gold and XP are plentiful here so don't worry about a perfect build.

In case you hadn't guessed, I'm partial to rogues so I can also help you locate sneaky-type items; in fact, given the chance most players here will go out of their way to help you, as we have benefited from those who walked these halls before us.

As far as power builds, Carson has the right of it, you'll want at least one to get down to level 15 (or 16 & 17 opening soon); but there is absolutely no reason not to have wizards, shifters and clog-dancing dwarves as well. When there are enough players, it's nice to have a well rounded party.

I'm partial to AA's, in case nobody noticed. To the point where I have some rather, er, interesting combinations. Let's see, I've done rogue base, druid base, fighter base, the standard wizard base, bard base, and all sorts of screwy combinations. While the druid is nice, the bard based archers are my personal favorites. Squeeze a good Cha item in, with decent base Cha, and you're in business.
