I just wanted to know what the final answer was. If it's legal great, if not, don't be idiots about it and blab it all over your work place.
That's the part that bothered me more I think. But like you said, it's a gray area. If you do it for personal use, and not selling it seems to be ok. Kinda like taping a show on your VCR to watch later, I guess. I don't download movies or music. I would if I could pay for it legally I might. Sometimes there's only a song or 2 I like on a CD, so I'd pay a buck a song, or something..
