Allow me to explain. Let us say you are opening a thread and you try to read its' contents, but you are barraged by excessively large images( not to mention text) which makes it difficult to sieve out the actual information, because the thread is so distracting. I have been to forums where people have carte blanche on what they put in their signature. Trust me when I say it can be frustrating trying to read the thread.

The situation is not so apparent here because there is already a policy and it is regularly maintained and enforced.

Odd that Dundee's first reaction to the new sig is a complaint about the size of the picture, not any comments on the quality of the site itself. I guess he really is a moderator now.
I want to seperate my role as a moderator, and as a boardie. You know I have already praised you for your efforts, and I still appreciate the effort into which you have invested into this project, but that is a personal comment and nothing to do with the breach in Rules and Regulations.

Unfortunately, no. By the way, your current signature is 189 pixels high, 49 more than the allowed dimension.

No worries, and thanks again for your co-operation.

In conclusion, just to let you know, I will not be totally draconian about your signature image sizes. If you exceed the limit by let us say, 5 pixels, I will not come down upon you with fiery vengence and quivering rage. The best of course, is to abide by the rule faithfully, but I will review cases on an individual basis.

This is not an invitation to start breaking/bending rules though, because ultimately, I am enforcing Ziroc's rules and his words are law in this forum.
