Bastards! what is the benefit like in your country? you could always take a few months holiday, live cheap on the dole and get a job when you get bored of that!

Hope you do find something decent when you get around to searching... what do you do for a crust anyway?

and, if you havent got a letter of recommendation (i assume this is your reference) pray you stole some company letterhead paper (you did right?) and simply write your own:

"Stratos is the best employee this company has had in its 456 years of operation. Due to his boundless brilliance, we could not keep him content, and needed to unleash him upon a chaotic world.

Stratos skills in the field of *INSERT AREA OF EXPERTISE HERE* have reached a level of near god-like perfection, and we recommend you not only hire him, but fire your entire management structure and make stratos CEO, CFO, chaiman of the board, operations manager, general manager. You will not be dissappointed.

Signed,
Mr The Boss"

althoguh i suggest you jazz it up a little, that is a little bland.

Happy rain, Atty!

Had a lovely warm evening here sans rain. We barbecued chicken for dinner.

*blink blink* Why Captain O, I do believe you need to have your eyes tested. *bat bat of lashes over hazel eyes*

ahhh... the mighty delete power... *snicker*

Beautiful day here but I have to work, too. Don't you just hate that? And when you get to be home it often rains or is so warm you dont want to hang out in the backyard.

Haven't had fondue in years! LOL Enjoy it! Or hope you did enjoy it...it's probably way past your dinner time by now!

I'm a uni student so I don't think I even can collect benefits. But I'm not sure about that one.

I'll have to call my (former) boss ask for a letter of recomendation.

Hahaha, no I don't think this will be very convincing. And there's always a risk they'll call the boss in question. Not that I'm not this good, mind you, but still...

Stratos: Dude! you dont put the bosses real number on it! you put the number of a sympathetic friend/uncle/brother etc! then, when they call up, Hey Presto! Brilliant verbal reference as well!

Gutted about the benefit - all you need to be here is 18 years old, and you are away.

Cloudy! i caught you! You and your damned delete powers! Its a conspiracy i tell you!

and yes, Fondue was GREAT! we were so full afterwards i couldnt even eat the banoffie (sp?) pie for dessert!

Although, our friends didnt leave until about midnight, and then we had 'Mount Dishes" to conquor, so it was a late night! am sitting at work now wondering if i can stay awake!

its times like this i wish that coffee didnt taste like absolute crap (IMHO).

WOOOOOOOOOOOT

The first (home) match of the season, and what a match. You can tell I haven't been singing football songs for a good few months my throat is really hurting.

And to top it off, I get my GCSE results tomorrow and I was told to come in early (with 9 other people), and that the headteacher wouldn't invite me to disappoint me. That's pretty good hint I've done well, and I'll be getting in the local paper.

So over all I'm pretty damn happy!
