I think I'm going with Mel on this one. I used to do the recluse-thing, but life just isn't worth a whole lot that way. At least, not to me. I try to be fairly selfless, but almost exclusively with my friends and family. Then again, I'm the kind of dork who puts high worth on honor, too.

A lot of people here obviously don't know the real life Shadowhound... where as I do.
Never go out with him because he'd only say hurtful things to you in the end, because he is only looking out for himself... I know from personal experience.

Oh, yes I'm feeling fine and dandy, just making sure you don't hide your real self from these people like you did with me
Sorry everyone for my behaviour, as you can tell... Shadowhound and I had a break up... well he broke up with me because he was thinking about himself. But I'm sure there are two sides to every story, well obviously I don't know Shadowhound's story but it's there, and I'm sure he will make you think otherwise to what I said... which doesn't really bother me, but just letting you know.

Ok, Lauran and Shadowhound, please take it to pm if you wish to continue on that line of discussion. PERSONAL problems and disagreements with other IW members aren't material for posting. Im sorry to hear you are having problems, but whatever issues you have need to be worked out privately, so take them to private email or pm, ok?

I didn't feel that any of the answers really fit for me. I would help a dear friend, but I would not go out of my way for an acquaintance. I dunno... depends on the person and situation. Its too hard a question to generalise into those categories, but, having said that, cool poll. Me likes.

You seem to care what they think about you. Why?
