There's too many of them! But a few are: "Kyrie Eleison" from Mozart's Requiem, "Olim Lacus Colueram" from Orff's Carmina Burana, "Ach, ich fuhl es, es ist verschwunden" from Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, Smashing Pumpkins - Mayonnaise, Nightwish - Angels Fall First, The Tea Party - Correspondences and Gone, MUSE - Space Dementia

That's almost impossible for me to say... Classical music - probably Mozart's Requiem/Die Zauberflöte, Orff's Carmina Burana/Catulli Carmina, Gorecki's Symphony no. 3, Tchaikovsky's Pathetique (6th Symphony), Vivaldi's Quattro Stagioni, Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite.
As for modern music - currently I like Muse's Origin of Symmetry, The Tea Party's Interzone Mantras. All-time faves: Smashing Pumpkins - Pisces Iscariot/Gish/Siamese Dream/Mellon Collie...ok almost everything LOL... Nightwish - Oceanborn, Angizia - everything, Nirvana - Bleach, Slayer - Decade of Agression, old Cradle Of Filth, Dimmu Borgir's Stormblåst, Type-O's Bloody Kisses, Sisters Of Mercy - Floodland/Vision Thing etc etc

Floors, walls, furniture... Making things fall off shelves is slightly less common, but happens. I normally use headphones if it is really loud (have to keep housemates/neighbours happy)

Yes, not a huge number though. Some are really bad songs, but they remind me of things that have happened in the past. Also some tunes make me smile or even laugh, so it works both ways.

A lot of my new Cds are 'instrumental', words are good sometimes though.

It's actually less often that I don't listen to music. I'm a music-a-holic, to invent a new term just for the single purpose of this post.

If I know the lyrics? Yes. I tend to shut up with instrumental music, though.

Situation: my land-lady is during the day always on ground level, while I'm on the second floor. Both the walls and the ceilings are made out of reinforced concrete. I could play my music as loud as I want it without ever having to deal with complaints...
So yes, ocassionally, I turn it up to more or less loud.

Erm, plastic cups tend to shake a little sometimes, yes.

Definitely, several even. Out of the top of my head, Pinback's June is a beautiful song. I've seen the band live as well, and was overwhelmed with emotions when they started the opening chords. Magnificent. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Plaid, Aphex Twin, Autechre are just some examples. And I'm sure there are more if I think I little bit harder.

Hmm, though one, favourite group is Pavement, I think. Didn't release *any* band albums during their career. I don't have a clearly outspoken favourite singer, though.

Yes, I ended up once in some sort of discotheque where they were mainly playing après-ski music. If you have no idea what that means, consider yourself lucky, but nothing can beat that horrible music, not even all the boybands together. At least you have a remote to switch to a different channel at home when something annoying is on.
