Elite force gets pretty scary once you play it at high difficulty.
Its very creepy seeing two dozen borgs coming from all sites and beaming in behind you yelling 'resistance is futile' and 'prepare to be assimilated'.

Well I had hoped that Nocturne would prove a good scary game, but the only scary thing about it was the poor control you had over the game..

I would say Terror from the Deep, never know when one of thoose fly.brained uglies would come sucking out your marines brains..

AVP is also a bit scary, though I hated the game since well, I didn´t like the balance and the controls really, no matter what you did, they always seemed to find you even if you were hiding... bah..

So what would be the scariest game??
Hmm, Alone in the dark I would have to sy. Not now, but when I first played it, a stormy autumn night many years ago.. that was pretty cool back then!

AvP was the stuff! I used to HATE the clicking, and I hated it even more because you didnt have the motion sensor when you used night-vision, so I had to rely on flares(definately one of the most well-concieved gimmicks of all time).
Resident Evil was scary before it turned into a damn sci-fi story..Silent Hill is creepy.
Arcanum had moments when the chills just ran down my spine. Like burying a man alive, and being hunted by phantoms and things like that..

Well, i don't play too many scary games, but from the previews i've seen so far Silent Hill 2 will be insane. hope to play it soon.
