Jars.
I keep scissors handy for most everything else but they don't help with those hard to open jars!

Not a food, but the bottle of NyQuil is tough to open. Of course that may be because you're at your weakest!

Wine bottles. You need a tool to open them.

Either them or cans. Ever tried opening either without the respective tool?

Some chip and pretzel bags, and then sometimes those lil ketchup packages.

Peanuts!! I can't open a single damn bag of peanuts, 'cause the little things spill all over the floor.

And then there's packaging (with those plastic film coverings - especially biscuits!) that have their "please tear here" tabs missing.

Dont know if people eat paint, but I find those little bottles of model paint REALLY hard to open when the paint gets on the lid and the edge and hardens up..its like the damn thing is glued together and it makes this REALLY squeaky high-pitched noise when you open it..
Or the ones with the caps that you have to pop open with your thumb..

For the sake of this thread, assume I eat paint

ROTFL!!! I was going to post the exact same thing, but then I remembered most people don't consider paint edible
Anyway for my calligraphy I use these small tubes of gouache, which have tiny screw-on caps. After I've used them a few times, the caps will get stuck due to all the dried-up paint on them, and I can't use force to open them, because then I ruin the tubes themselves by twisting them too hard... ....verrry annoying
