The start, when it loaded up, and at character generation I suddenly became aware of ALL THE NEW CLASSES.

The anticipation and exitement of a beginning!!!!

I just had one in Brynnlaw where jan started a story and Keldorn told him to shut up because the island would have sunk before Jan finished the story.

My favourite moment was also at the start when I was creating (a) character/s.

Once I was inspired by Tolkien and wanted to make a party of 4 halfling thieves, and I prepared a whole day thinking of how they would manage in "real" life. I didn't go through with that idea though, I realized it would be a little boring of just laying traps, backstab and shooting arrows.

I have had a lot of ideas of different parties that I wanted to play, and it is the moments of preparation that is the most fun. This is probably why I play the dungeon over and over again with different parties. I am never really satisfied.

When I found out Khalid (the whiney half-elf warrior) was dead... too bad Jaheira was still alive.

Keldorn: Indeed, little one. 'Tis not virtuous to refer to me as 'knighty'.

Jan: Another human with his shorts in a knot. But I digress. Anyway, Keldy, my mother wrote a book on virtue.

Keldorn: Did she?

Jan: Oh, yes. A book on the virtues of erotic love. "Sins of the Flesh Golem", it was called. Excellent sales in the paladin's spouse market.

Keldorn: A wholly inappropriate jest, Jan. You should be ashamed.

Jan: It is no jest. I'll send you a copy, if your wife does not already have one.

Keldorn: Never speak of my wife, gnome. Your lack of respect is appalling.

Jan: Ah, now I see. One of THOSE.

Keldorn: It is not your place to judge my affairs. You must learn to respect your elders.

Jan: I do respect my elders. This has nothing to do with them. In fact, it reminds me of the chapter where the paladin first makes passionate love to the flesh golem. What a beautiful scene...

Keldorn: Begone, gnome, lest my honor demand that I perform acts that you shall regret.

Jan: 'Fleshy, honey,' the paladin said. 'Yes, baby?' said the golem...

THIS was my most hysterical moment in the game too! Happenend in the Temple Ruins (umar hills) ROTFL! LOVE that Jan!
