This is pretty neat, I mean some of them are just stupid. Not manly just stupid, but others are nice and well polite things that people today just don't do.

I mean ladies, when was the last time you walked into a bus and a guy got up and gave you his seat. (without you being handicapped)

Yea, and the door stuff, and the paying thing. I agree with alot of these things. Nice find!

Well, aside from my husband doing it, that'd be about 20+ yrs ago when I was in Moscow, USSR. Young people and men got up for older folks (male or female) and women on busses or trams. Not always, but very nearly and sometimes they'd take a collective tongue lashing for not getting up if a woman or elderly person got on the bus etc.

My husband opens doors, holds my coat (still does all this) and paid for most, but not all, of the things we did on dates before we married. I put gas in his truck, bought us a really nice dinner a few times and basically appreciated being treated so nicely. I didn't feel like he was usurping my dignity or somesuch just because he opened a door or helped me into the truck, heck the danged truck was so big, I needed a ladder or crane to get into it without his help!- I'm only 4'11 and the truck was a full sized pick up!

And he is not alone now! (Although I wouldn't say he'd do everything on the list above-he'd surely get a good laugh at them!)
