About the only thing that bugs me is people who dress all 'gangsta'. It just looks sloppy and clownlike, IMO.

LZ, I'm with you regarding toe socks and adult mittens. Arvon, sorry, but I can't stand UGGs. I've met only one person in the world who can pull them off, and she looks like an adult from a children's book, if that makes any sense.

Personally, I hate poly-cotton blends, and I dislike shirts with logos on them. If someone's buying clothing, they should pay LESS to be a walking advertisement, not MORE. I hate ankle socks that you think are your size, but they're SLIGHTLY too small so they slip off your feet ALL DAY and you need to either adjust them or live with extreme discomfort. On an aside note, I'm also angry that I've failed to find a nice pair of boots that are both fabulous and indestructable.

I hate those so called "hiking boots" that *look* like they have good traction, but they make a slightly wet sidewalk seem like slick ice. I've found exactly ONE pair of hiking boots that gave me good traction, and they've been worn smooth.

"Nice" clothing bugs me. You know the type, it might look good, but it's too restrictive and you can't actually *do* anything when wearing it.

Anything with a small neck hole. I feel like I'm suffocating when things touch my neck. Combine this with the aforementioned "nice" clothing, and I'm miserable.

Ties. Leashes for humans, they are. Way I see it, it's a symbolic representation of being owned by another, probably why they're so popular in the corporate world. Feh, that's why I'm not a corporate stooge, combines all the things I hate most in clothing in one package. I'll take my loose fitting, functional, oh-so-unstylish gear any day.

Oi!

Haha not really... Well... sometimes for a laugh... I just have the massive pants, thats all... They aren't big enough if you have to undo the button to put them on! I actually think they are really comfortable... I hate tighter stuff... but my baggy jeans are excellent... I have two excellent pairs of baggy jeans that I just wear around the house they way other people wear boxers to relax in

I can't stand polo shirts. Or other collared, non-button up shirts...

And those T-shirts that have a tighter bit on the end of the sleeves... if you know what I mean... Like a collar for the sleeves... bloody restrictive on my biceps...

I also used to hate those fitted T-shirts... but its amazing... now that I am no longer all weedy... my attitude towards them seems to haev changed... funny that

Question Mark

No v-necks. No blocky men's shoes--no human being has square toes. No shiny clothes. Absolutely no new jeans that look like they came out of someone's dumpster--they hang on the rack already torn and faded. Nothing yellow, light tan/brown, or orange.

I don't like the baggy falling off jeans look either that guys wear. To me it looks sloppy, and gross cause of the underwear showage. "Oh, Fruit of the Looms eh?" And to me it's ridiculous that it is considered a "gangsta" look, cause like, OK say you ARE a gangsta right? Well then you are probably in a lot of fights, and sneaking and criming it up, running from the cops, etc. All of these things cannot be done easily in baggy pants hanging low. I mean to run you'd have to hold em up, and run with your legs wide to avoid the swishing of extra fabric colliding against eachother LOL.

Bungleau - I have a pair of slippers I got for Christmas last year that only have half the actual "shoe" part LOL, the heel is totally exposed. I can't even imagine how you'd walk in those things, nevertheless go up and down stairs.

I totally agree with you Illumina re the logo thing. I don't want to be a walking advertisement either. But you know, sadly, there are some people who only buy certain brands of certain clothing and love to show off the brand name, to show how much they paid for it I guess.

Speaking of logos, a few weeks ago I was shopping for some new sneakers and was in the mall, so just ducked into Foot Locker cause there were all these SALE! signs. I actually found one pair though, cannot remember what brand name it was. Anyways, in the end I didn't buy them because they had sewn in this embroidered big label right on the bottom inside of the shoe, where your heel would sit basically. And yes, you could definitely feel it big time. And it'd be quite a job, if not impossible without ruining the bottom of the shoe, to try to remove it, it was sewn in with a zillon threads. What idiot came up with the idea to do that? I mean the logo can't even be seen, you are standing on it for crying out loud. And why did they not think a person wouldn't feel that crap underneath their heel? Heck after a day of wearing them you probably get an imprint on your heel from it LOL. Sheesh, tardos.

Winter Wolf - I'm with you on the small neckhole in shirts thing. I cannot stand anything tight on my throat. The worse ones for me are the small "turtle neck" sweaters *shudder*

Johnny, if anybody buys me a scratchy wool sweater, the stray cat gets it outside LOL, he loves em!

Callum - If you arms are getting that big, maybe you should invest in some "Wife Beaters" LOL. (shirts with no sleeves at all).

Azred - Yeah I agree re the V-necks, but just for men. They are OK for gals though. But yeah, now that you mention it, not really flattering on a guy LOL. Kinda 70's Oh and I had a thread here last year in 2004 I think re those jeans in stores like Old Navy that are all dirtied and messed up with stains and holes and stuff. I remember I found some real "treasures" re searching on the net for pics of em LOL. No way I'd pay money for em, LOL, I find better in the Salvation Army!
