OMG, I bet that guy gets less play than anyone I've ever met. What a L-on-the-forehead.

As for this use of the term "busted," it's the first I've heard of it. But, it's awesome how a language can be so alive. Of course, it sucks that stupid young dumb people are the ones who do so much to change language. They suck. The older I get the more I realize younguns are worthless, each and every one of them a poster child for why NOT to procreate.

Boohya! To step it up even more, a "Buster" is someone who is whack- a "Ball-Buster". So if it's "Busted"- it's cool(unless a cop is saying it to ya!), but if your a "Busta"- you ain't down with it at all(unless you are Busta-Rhymes).

Buster is also a slang term for certain pharmacutical drugs- Phenobarbital.

Amen!

What, Who and Why? Specifically in relation to "busted", i gather? Dunno exactly. I've never heard it used in that context before. But if it catches on, it would mean that it's done a complete backflip in meaning in the space of one generation. Alarming? Not really. Just learn to roll with it. It's the older generations that define language but, as TL said, it's the younger gens that are making it up as they go along. And if you want to communicate with them, you gotta do it on their level...

Me? I can't be assed with 'em.

*Edit: Oh, Chewie. It's "Booyah" btw. Jeez. Don't you know anything?

Damn whipper snappers. I remember when I was that age, we had to walk uphill to school in the snow, both ways.

"Busted" is usually used to describe something that is ugly or unattractive.
