My cat is so picky she only eats one kind of canned food, and turns her nose at most human food except for bacon or Sarah Lee Honey Turkey from the Deli in the grocery store (yummy).

When I was growing up my mom had tons of cats. I remember one loved those little tiny marshmallows LOL. He'd also swallow a huge cat vitamin pill in seconds, was amazing LOL. I used to say we could probably toss a rock down in front of him and he'd eat it before he knew what it was LOL.

Oh and on the dog side, we had a Samoyed that loved sour krout! (sp?).

ROTFL, Lettuce? Now that's not a food you'd expect a cat to go for! Although my Merlin does like broccoli now and then!

I know. It's really odd. After supper, whenever I'm over there, she always marches into the kitchen and sits by the fridge until she gets her lettuce.

Bacon.

My sister's cat is crazy about bacon.

You are not safe in this house if you have any, you may think you are, but from the shadows she shall pounce in an attempt to steal the greasy goodness of bacon!

And ham, she loves ham.

I have 3 cats and they are all siblings. They seem to enjoy hunting in a small pack because they have returned home with dead CROWS! Not baby crows either, adult crows. They also bring home lots of mice. They usually eat about half of what they bring home .

Azrey'lle also enjoys licking earwax from used cottonbuds.

She would raid the tidybin in the bathroom, and we would find them on the floor. My vet told me that this is common, as cats get the taste for earwax when they groom each other.

Sir G, that's too funny, the image of a cat sitting by the fridge demanding...lettuce!

Jorath, maybe she just wanted some greens in her diet! HAHA...raw broccoli, yup that's what Merlin has stolen off the counter of picked off the floor if it fell. I don't eat it but occasionally I'll have some in the house if we have company.

That is so weird! My cat likes the q-tips straight out of the package! He is a nut for them and will steal one if it falls out of the box or if you're holding it he'll try and smack it out of your hand to run off with it!

My vet says it's not good for him to swallow the 'cotton' tip (which these days is often a synthetic) so I'm really careful about not dropping any, still he has gone in the trash for them in the past, so those are used ones...yuk!

Tuppence is very fussy; I have a long list of varieties of canned food that she refuses to eat. But as a kitten she tried butter (yummy, but then she had really bad diarrhoea ), bacon (stole some off the kitchen bench) and potato. She rarely eats anything off your plate at dinner except barbequed steak; she will usually just pat the piece of chicken or lamb or whatever onto the floor.

One thing she does is drink from inappropriate places, like the washing up water filled with suds, or the shower floor. Nevermind that she has three lovely daily-refilled water bowls to choose from!

Progies, plastic bags, pretty much whatever it feels like. It likes to help itself to progies straight from the pot when I am not watching.
