PCWorld are good for one thing only - they have the best budget range of any store in the UK. Its probably worth a visit if you have one locally.

Or Amazon have a couple of second hand copies going.

I managed to get a copy of T-D-C, just lucky that he was in Australia or else someone else would have taken it off his hands

Yeah I got it as a bonus with BGII. I had played it to death and thought I could share the love.

So why is this so rare? Was it never released in England?

Nope, it was released in England because that's where I got my copy.

It's rare because 'most' people didn't like it. It got a great review in PCZone which is why I bought it, but I hated every minute of it. The interface was the most horrible thing for me, some freaky hybrid of the BG1 and NwN interface. Think radial menus without all the quickslots you get in NwN. Ghastly.

It gets great comments about its adult dialogue and tremendous story, but I found it lacking in direction or any kind of 'charm' that would make me want to continue.

If I ever stumble across it, I'll send you my copy

Same belief here - great games should be shared. My copy sat on the shelf for about 12 months after I jad finished it. Then some IW bloke from NZ asked me whether it was any good - so I mailed him off my game. he sent me an email thanking me, then another about 6 months later saying it was really great. I can't remember the guys IW user name now, but I am glad the game found another good home.
