I will try those other things you said today, but as far as NC to CA and then CA to HI...it was more expensive. It costs only $300 to get from NC to CA...but then from CA to HI it is like $460. Getting into Hawaii is the most expensive part of the whole thing. I did not realize that there is so much ocean between the West Coast and the islands.
