Basically mate, you have your multiplier set too high.

Your Corsair XMS4400 is capable of running at 275mhz at 2.5-3-3-8.

Your HTT should be set to 3, not 5 (you might be able to get away with 4).

3 * 275 = <1000
4 * 275 = 1100

Should ideally be around 1000. The default is 5 x 200 = 1000.

Drop your CPU multiplier to 10, HTT to 3, up the CPU voltage to 1.5V and the RAM REQUIRES 2.75V minimum.

Bet it works

You talking 275mhz FSB?

Well I tried it, and it didn't work. It kept freezing at the windows loading screen. So at the moment it is running at...

HTT:4
FSB:246 IIRC
MP:10

Just a point. I know many people who keep their HTT at 5 and still have a 230+ FSB. I don't think it really matters too much.

Oh and Dace - I tried your idea, of shoving the FSB to 275mhz, but no success

Drop the bloody HTT to 3!!!

3 x 275

You do have Corsair XMS 4400 right???

Make sure the RAM voltage is 2.75 - 2.8V

EDIT: Up the CPU voltage to 1.5V as well.

I did drop the HTT to 3. And yeah, that is the RAM I have. I had the RAM Voltage on 2.8, and the CPU Voltage on 1.5.

All I got was windows freezing (on bootup, on the XP loading screen, before desktop) and after a few tries I ended up getting the "repair windows" blah that I detailed above. This time though I didn't actually have to, I just lowered the settings and all was OK.

Maybe we were a bit ambitious with the CPU multiplier.

Try 9 x 275 (2495) with the other settings as described above. If that works, up it to 9.5 on the multiplier (2612.5), though this may need a tiny processor voltage increase to compensate.

EDIT: Also, up the NForce4 chipset voltage to 1.75V.
