What's up with the monster poster? It looks like it's about to do some X-rated stuff to the joystick!

256 meg video card is considered slow?? I have 64 meg GeForce 2 and it works fine with all my games. I suppose you have to be a game junky with little to do to want to pay $2,500 for a game box. I could get the same thing for probably 1,100 bucks less through ebay, if I buy the parts seperately. Granted it will take longer, because you have to be picky, but its worth the wait. I just upgraded to a 2 gig processor with 700 some megs of ram, and it will take anything I throw at it now. Wait about six months and those monster 3 gigs will drop in price. Wait till Elder Scrolls IV comes out and they'll be giving them away. I had my 500mhz last me for 5 years and it wasn't until the motherboard died that I had to upgrade. In short, I suppose I'm just not a dedicated game person.....I have a real sword and a real horse I can ride....why would I need some pixelated version? Heh.

FYI that price is in AU Dollars as well. I have seen cheaper PC's on Ebay with similar specs but I'm trying to get the sellers to tell me what type of graphics cards they have etc. Most of them just say 256MB graphics card with no mention of if its onboard or the brand.

This is definatly not the final PC I will be purchains but i have heard VERY good things about the Alienware PCs.

Go Alienware, that's my dream machine. I've been drooling over em for quite a while, even got some stuff in the mail at one time, was seriously thinking on it then. But my next game machine will be home made, it is cheaper to do it that way, in the long run, and you know exactly what you've got then.
