I'll send you something Dan, can't top off the meter, but darn close. I do not have a paypal account though, so I'd be sending you a check out on Monday, would that be too late?

Sigh, how difficult is it to get a Paypal account, and is it safe?

So you can cover for this month? Then use mine for next month? Cause again I can try the Paypal thing if it is really necessary! I just know nothing about Paypal is all, and worry that hackers or something someday may get in there and screw everyone LOL. But I'll do it if need be!

And I agree, so many members here, we should have many more donators. If many donated small amounts it would add up and maintain. Heck I'd rather see IWs a forum you had to pay for a year's "subscription" to get on then it not existing at all. Of course that would take away so many members, would not be the same. That is why said "many members" need to also contribute what they can, when they can. Understandably some simply cannot at all because they are too young and don't earn money, or some who just are completely strapped for cash (been there myself the past 6 months). Still though, out of all the members here it should be an easy thing keeping this forum going. *shrug*

I cannot make large donations every single month, and I bet neither can the few that are contributing. The more contributors, the less it is on said contributors, if that makes sense.

I hate to say this, but this was bound to happen sooner or later. It's a gamble each month if IW makes the deadline, and that's not a healthy situation. A forum the size of IW should be generating money instead of being the bottomless pit it is today. This has been discussed over and over again, but obviously to no effect. There are several ways to make money, all it takes is a one time investment, after that Z should be able to run this place without any further financial woes. I'm sure if we stick our heads together, we can cough up a certain sum of cash to get things started.

This has to end, hoping that people come up with 200$ every month is destined to end wrong.

I don't really see how it should end wrong. We have tons of members that visit daily. Don't you think if people love something, they should support it? I sure do!

So do i Z, but obviously you can't rely on it. I for one haven't donated since i moved to my new appartment last year in June, simply because i have to pay twice as much rent as in my former place, so count me out as a regular donator. I wish it was different, but it's not. I'm sure i'm not the only one here who has to look after their budget very carefully. No matter how much i love IW, i also have to eat, and sorry, but that's a little more important to me if you don't mind.

We need an amount of money, so IW can start selling merchandise, like i said before, it works, i've seen it on other sites. IW could also function as the middleman when people buy games, books, or movies online, so that it receives a certain percentage of every order that's placed. And for god's sake, allow one or two banner adds in the forum summary, i don't think anyone cares wheter they're there or not.
