The Elegant Universe was an awesome book. I have an autographed copy, too
 ...Oh, and Brian Greene is a great speaker, too...but a lot of physicists are. That's why I continue to plug physics, because honestly, no matter your level of education, there is something that you can take from a properly given lecture on physics. Several of us read conceptual physics books around here...I posted a thread once upon a time in the books forum, probably early last year sometime, and I got a modest amount of people to admit that they read them too... So it's not uncommon on this board to find people who know a bit about the physical laws of the world.
